Billionaire Assassin

Chapter 18

Ninja’s Surprise Attack On Elena:

“Yes my Lord. Though it wasn’t an easy task, Ena is truly a Princess my Lord.”

“What then is her real name and the name of her Kingdom?”

“Elena of Eras Kingdom my Lord.”

That answer made Demon sit up from his bed.

“What did you say?” Demon asked.

“I said her real name is Elena and she is the daughter of the King of Eras Kingdom my Lord.” The demon answered.

“But how did you manage to find out?”

“I had to break into her room and touch the girl you revealed to me on her forehead. Everything about her was shown as an image to me.” The demon replied to him.

“I knew there was something fishy about the girl, the way she fought earlier on confirmed my suspicions. But I wonder how a Princess will have purple hair.” Demon said, pondering on it.

Humans can’t have purple hair unless they dye it. But Ena seems to look real and not dye.

“I am afraid you have to find out for yourself, my Lord.” The voice of his servant brought him out of his thoughts.

“You can go now. Thank you for your useful information. I will send for you when you are needed again.” Demon told the demon who bowed and disappeared.

So if Ena is Elena, the girl putting on a mask is her younger sister, Princess Eva and not Evelyn. No wonder Elena didn’t bother to wear a mask because no one can recognise her as the Princess.

Hmmm, finding the princess wasn’t as hard as he had thought it would. The Princess is now within his grasp. Now he has to find a way to kill her without anyone getting suspicious of him when he leaves the school afterwards.

But can he have the heart to kill her?

“Is it possible for me to kill her when I know fully well I am attracted to her.” Demon said to himself as he lay back in his bed to continue his sleep.

Well he wouldn’t decide until tomorrow.

Jess House:

Elena woke up very early the next morning. Truthfully, she had been awake after her strange dream she had with the Manticore beast. She finds her way to the kitchen, the house is quiet and so she has to walk silently so she wouldn’t wake the two people still sleeping. She took a large bowl and filled it with cold water and tiptoed to Eva’s room. Opening the door which surprisingly wasn’t locked, she peeped and saw her sister still sleeping.

Smirking to herself, now it’s time for her revenge. She nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Turning around with her heart in her mouth she saw her aunt.

“How did you do that? I didn’t hear you getting out of your room or you walking towards me?” Elena asked with surprise as she tried to breathe normally once she realized it was her aunt.

“I thought you were doing your revenge because in the next one minute, Eva will be fully awake.” Jess replied and turned around walking towards the kitchen.

Entering the room, she tiptoed until she reached the bedside and poured the contents of the bowl into Eva’s face and body.

Her loud scream was sure to wake up the entire neighborhood. She stood up and faced her sister with a hard glare.

“Good morning to you too, dear sister.” Elena said dramatically.

“What is the meaning of this Elena?”

“Well, you started it first Eva, it’s just what we call ‘a pay back’ and you are looking at me that way? At least you will get to sleep on a wet bed like I did last night. Got to take my bath sis, enjoy the cold,” Elena said, and cat walked out of the room. Once she was out, she ran to her room and locked her door. She didn’t trust Eva. She quickly took her bath and changed from her night clothes to a purple dress which matches with her hair. She wore a black boot and ponytail her hair with a black hair band.

One hour later, the girls were done eating and were about to leave for school when Elena stopped and faced Jess.

“I had a dream last night, aunt.”

“We will discuss it when you return from school.” Jess said and handed the car key to Elena. “Hope you still remembered the way to your school?”

Nodding her head as she collects the key. “Yes auntie. Thank you.” Elena said and walked towards the Lamborghini.

Eva feels sad when she doesn’t see their new neighbor. She had worn a killer dress that brought out all her curves.

Opening the car door as Eva entered the front passenger seat ignoring Elena.

Elena started the car and drove out of her aunt’s house to her school.

“You do know you will talk to me soon. After all, I talked to you when you poured me cold water.”

Huffing out in annoyance “Whatever, just know I am getting back at you,” Eva said.

Elena just smiled. “Bring it on.”

They soon arrived at the school and drove into the school compound.

She saw the Bugatti of yesterday and Damien was standing beside it, staring at the gate.

She parked her car next to the Bugatti.

“Don’t forget to tell anyone what you told Damien yesterday the reason why you are putting on a mask, in case they asked.” Elena reminded.

“Of course dearest sister,” Eva said, opening the door and coming out.

“Hi Damien, how are you doing?” Eva greeted. The beautiful guy didn’t answer her, rather he was staring at Elena.

Elena came down and locked her car door, ignoring the looks she was receiving. She went to meet her sister and Damien. “Hello friend.” She said with a brief smile and turned to go, dragging her sister along.

“What!? I thought you said you aren’t interested in any of the two cute guys,” Eva said.

“Look at his face, he is not in a good mood. And yes, I am not interested in any of them.” Elena responded. “See you in the school cafeteria sis.”

“Yeah see you too sis.”

They both went to their separate classes.

Damien took a deep breath to calm himself. It will be hard to kill the girl. When his eyes met hers, he just felt his world stopped moving and her smile, her smile brought lustful images to him. Her smile was beautiful, her smile was sexy and, and he wanted to see her smile only to him and not anyone else.

He has got to find out what’s really wrong and why he couldn’t see himself killing the girl.

He walked towards his class full of thoughts.

The School Cafeteria:

The cafeteria became quiet when they saw the three new students walking side by side to their table.

Elena, Eva and Demon all sat on their table, eating. Like before, Demon didn’t request for any food. He just stared at Elena.

Then he saw them out of the corner of his eyes. They were fast but didn’t escape from his eyes.

Elena found it strange that Damien was staring at her. Throughout their classes, Damien’s eyes never wavered away from her face and even when the teacher was teaching.

Was something on her face?

She thought and turned around and saw Dave heading towards her table.

Her eyes widened a little when she saw two horns on Dave’s head.

She suddenly felt like vomiting and stood up from her seat, excusing herself and ran to the female restroom.

As she entered it, she was surprised when she saw Damien entering the restroom with her.

Locking the door, Demon ignored the spectacular sight of Elena throwing out her guts in one of the clean toilets, and focused on the closed cubicles.

Three of them. On silent footsteps, Demon walked up to the first cubicle. The door was open, so he entered and closed the door. Closing the lid on the toilet, he climbed up and swung himself up to the top of the cubicle frames. The second one was empty, but in the third… a woman stood, her fingers twirling high-grade fishing line. Bad choice, unless she planned to stage Elena’s death.

Balancing on the frame, Demon jumped in right behind her, his descent silent. Before she could react to his presence, he caught her in an unrelenting chokehold that put her out in three seconds flat. Her weight sagged against him. Demon reached behind, closing the toilet lid, he sat her on the toilet making sure she was balanced and wouldn’t fall.

Two more Ninja’s to go.

Opening the toilet door, he stepped out of the cubicle to find Elena washing her mouth and her lips. Demon wondered what Elena would say if he had offered to lick her red rosy lips. Elena looked good enough to eat, and Demon didn’t mind having a taste.

“Are you still here?” Elena asked, glancing at him through the mirrors over the sink.

Demon smiled. “Yes.”

“Why are you with me in the female restroom?”

Demon wanted to reply but stopped. His gaze sweeping back to the last cubicle, he quickly opened it but it was empty.

“I have no idea why I am with you here Ena, I just wanted to know if you are fine with the way you ran out of the cafeteria when you saw Dave,” Demon said went to the door, unlocking it to leave.

Instinct had him raising his arms up in defense when a kick came flying at him. The force of it is enough to push him back. He managed to stop his fall inches away from the first cubicle wall. Elena stared at him in shock.

“Don’t move,” Demon ordered Elena.

As long as Elena stayed in one position, she would not get hurt. Demon ignored Elena’s alarmed expression and focused on his assailants.

They were two Ninja’s in full blacks as they entered the restroom and jam the door behind them, locking it. They produced long thin swords, ready for full combat.

The woman in the cubicle was out for the next several hours. These two, with their open attack, Demon had no choice but to put them down for good.

Demon carried no weapons. It was easier to live unnoticed if you carried as little as possible. He broke his defensive stance, Undoing his belt, he removed it in a swift tug.

Their assailants came at him at once, their intent to murder him then Elena.

The three men moved fast. Too fast for Elena to see clearly. The two holding the blades attack Damien, over and over. A swift deadly dance, one touch of those blades enough to draw blood. She held her breath as one cut Damien’s left arm. Demien was using the belt to deflect the swords, he was good at it too.

Shit, were these idiots playing some kind of make-believe video game in her presence?

What is it these days? Pokémon-Go?

Elena gazes at the red on Damien’s arm. The blood was real. She knew blood, and the stuff trailing along on Damien’s arm was fucking real.

The fight blocked her from the door, and even though she wanted to fight them, they were too fast like the wind plus she wasn’t holding a weapon.

A soft grunt, and one of the Ninjas lost his blade. In the next instant, Damien held the blade, sunk it first into one man’s chest, then into the other’s neck.

Elena’s instinct was to rush forward to stop the blood flowing out of the first man’s chest. Damien pushed Elena back and Elena lost her balance and sat on the floor.
