Chapter 3
Ava Lins’ hands trembled as she remembered last night. Her heart felt like it was riddled with hundreds of holes.
Was it worth jumping off from the balcony for this man?
Ava parked her car and took a cab to the hospital.
When she arrived at the emergency room, she saw her father and brother, Omi Lins, talking to a doctor.
Her father’s face was getting paler. She feared that something had happened .
The doctor left, leaving Omi Lins staring at her with tears in his eyes that made Ava’s heart swell.
“The doctor said we have to amputate Sis’ arms to save her,” Omi said.
“Sis, what now? How can sister play piano after she loses an arm? That’s more serious than murder.”
Ava gritted her teeth and hugged Omi, her heart aching. “Omi, this is the only thing we can do,” she finally said. “I want her to live.”
Omi Lins hugged Ava Lins tighter.
His boiling tears silently wetted her clothes.
The doctor advised the family to act quickly or they might miss the ideal time for surgery and the wounded woman might not survive.
They had no other choice.
They prayed that she would live, even if she hated them in the future…
Ava pulled out her cell phone and read Goden Bran’s message, ” I already have appointments tonight, so I will not be back.”
“The guy you called turned off his phone,”
she went outside to contact Goden Bran but his phone was turned off.
She sadly hung up the phone. She had been through a lot. Where was her husband?
Ava Lins often felt unmarried and alone…
She looked at her ring. What, besides the ring, made her seem married?
“Is not he coming?”
“He has business to attend to,” Ava said, turning her head to hide her displeasure.
“Did not he come to you when something so big happened? Do you love him so much that he does not feel sorry for you?”
Ava Lins lowered her head to hide the pain in her heart. “Can’t you talk about it?”
“Oh yes, do you quarrel with your Sister?” said Granny Lins and sighed.
“She came back yesterday and said strange things to me. ”
Ava’s heart stopped when she heard that.
She felt guilty. She knew it was a mistake, but she might have prevented these disasters if she had explained to her sis earlier. She had misjudged Tianra’s stamina and assumed that she would be fine if she calmed down.
She groaned, not knowing where to start. This cocky person was the culprit!
She imagined his mischievous grin. She knew he was someone who abused his father’s wealth and influence to get what he wanted.
In a hotel.
Goden Bran stood outside the French window.
His sword-like brows were pinched tightly together and his eyes were deep and mysterious.
Delicate hands appeared on his waist.
“Didn’t you promise not to go back tonight?” she said softly, pressing her beautiful body against his back, rubbing his cocks.
Goden said to the woman behind him, “I still have my papers at home and need to go pick them up.”
“Then have the secretary take them to your residence, is not that all right?”
She hugged him tightly, for she did not want him to leave tonight…
Goden Bran smirked and backed away. He lifted her lower jaw and set his wine cup aside. Her beautiful looks could fascinate any man.
“You were not always like this.”
She pursed her lips and clasped his hand. “I was not always like this. I believed women were supposed to be reserved, but my reserve kept you away from me.””I do not want you to go back and live with another woman.”
“She’s my best friend, and I want her to be happy. But because Heaven is making fun of me, I can tell she’s not happy with you. Why do not you break up with her since you do not like her?”
“Goden, I confess I regret it,” Belli Tannu murmured as she approached him. “I should not have left you to pursue my career those years, it is my mistake, but I really love you Goden.”
“Give me some more time,” Goden Bran murmured softly as he groaned.
“After work, I’ll divorce her.”
“I can wait for you,” Belli Tannu said, chuckling.
“I have a birthday present for you today. Wait, I’ll get it.”
Belli Tannu moved away. Then she stood in front of him, loosened his tie and put on the tie she had bought.
Her gentle disposition exuded a seductive fragrance. One could sense the glorious surroundings in her pajamas. Every man, no matter how confident, would be impressed by her.
He touched her cheeks and made her pause. He kissed her, his head lowered…Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
Goden Bran threw off his tie, loosened his shirt, pulled down her pajamas, bent down to lift her up horizontally, and walked toward the bed.
His fingers are fiddling in her lap, his arms crossed defiantly below her round, firm breasts.
He took his fingers in to her wetness, she cried out, winching like her body was on fire.
He crawls over her body, hovering over.
When the sun rose the next day, he discovered Ava Lins asleep on the bed.
“Sis?” said Grandma, and her heart ached for her.
Then Ava Lins woke up, looked at Omi and then at Tianna, who was still sleeping. “You came so early?
“Sis, I get you something to eat.”
She ate her breakfast on the side. She was eating when she saw a newspaper next to her and the person in the article caught her eye!
Was not he the one who made Tianna jump off a building?
She took a quick glance at the paper. That was him…
She had read in the press that it was Jeorge Milton!
Of all the celebrities, he attracted the most paparazzi.
Ava Lins did not care what his past was, she just wanted her sister, who was missing her arms, while she ate and drank normally! She could not put up with that!
Before she left, Ava Lins told Omi to take good care of her.
It was like looking for a needle in a haystack with only one person’s name.
But his name was Jeorge Milton!
