Chapter 26
They left and headed to the bakery. Raine was fuming mad. She can’t believe what happened. As she walked in, she saw the owner trying to get her attention. No, she didn’t! Why wasn’t she surprised?
“Raine! I was just about to call you.” The baker replied.
“Well it’s a good thing I stopped by.” Raine replied.
“Someone called here pretending to be you, but I didn’t recognize the voice. She was trying to cancel your order but when I asked to speak to you, she hung up!” The baker replied.
“Thank you! One of Jax’s ex’s is trying to sabotage my wedding.” Raine explained.
“Girl, nothing surprises me anymore! The extent some of these skanks will go to is unreal! But as a business owner, you have to make sure you in fact are talking to the customer. Current situation proved that fact.” The baker replied.
“Tell me about it! Please tell me everything is still ok for Saturday!” Raine pleaded.
“Absolutely! All is a go here. No worries, I got your back.” She replied.
The girls bought a few baked goods and then said their goodbyes. Next, they headed to the Caterer’s shop.
“Welcome ladies, how may I be of service?” The Caterer asked.
“I just wanted to stop by and check my order for Saturday.” Raine explained.
“No problem. Name please?” He asked.
“Raine Parker.” She replied.
“You bridezillas. Change your mind again?” He asked.
“I have no idea what you mean. The only time I have talked to you was when I placed the order.” Raine replied.
“Well, I got a call to cancel. Then I got a call to change the date instead.” He explained.
“Look, I didn’t call you. I’m just going over my ordered for Saturday for my wedding. Seems someone is calling and canceling all my ordered, but I can assure you it’s not me, the order I placed is what I want, and the wedding is still this Saturday. Now can you help me or not?” Raine retorted.
“I do apologize. And you’re in luck. I already had the food on order, and I couldn’t cancel it. Thank God I won’t be stuck with it.” He sighed.
“Well frankly you should confirm you’re actually talking to the right person first. And moving forward do not change my order unless I come in here in person and change it.” Raine replied.
“Of course, ma’am.” He replied.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
They left the shop and went to the diner to grab lunch. She had half a mind to find another Caterer since that one was a jerk. But it was too late to do that. He would not be getting a tip or good review from her.
“I am totally exhausted! I feel like I did all the wedding arrangements in one day!” Raine groaned.
“Well, you kinda did. Man, I can’t wait to see that bitch’s face!” Kim smirked.
Just then Raine’s cell rang. She dreaded to see who it was, but picked it up anyway. It was Sam.
“Hello?” Raine asked.
“Hey babe, how’s your day going?” Sam asked.
“Don’t ask.” Raine replied.
“That bad huh?” Sam asked.
“You have no idea!” Raine replied.
“Well, I hate to say it, but it’s about to get even worse.” Sam replied.
“Well might as well get all the bad shit out at once. Lay it on me.” Raine replied.
“I just got done talking to the mechanic about your car. He found sugar in your gas tank. And unfortunately, the repairs will cost more than what your car is worth.” Sam explained.
“Mother fucking son of a bitch! I am going to kill that no good piece of shit! Y’all better call and warn the guys. Blood is gonna spill!” Raine retorted.
Raine jumped in Jax’s truck and hauled ass to the clubhouse. She pulled into the parking lot with gravels flying. She was pissed. She jumped out barely turning the truck off and ran inside.
She saw Angel rubbing up against Jax at the bar. He was ignoring her. Raine stormed towards the bar. She grabbed Angel by her hair and jerked her backwards and slammed her fist into her face, knocking her on her ass.
Jax grabbed Raine to keep her from attacking Angel more. Angel was sobbing and playing the innocent victim. Raine’s rage grew.
“Jax, are you going to let her treat me like that?” Angel whined.
“Baby? You want to explain?” Jax asked.
“Let me go now! I’m gonna beat the ever-living shit out of this no-good conniving bitch!” Raine retorted.
“First I want to know what’s going on here?” Jax asked.
“Let’s just say Angel here has been a terribly busy girl. Trying to sabotage our wedding, and other petty shit.” Raine huffed.
“You are so paranoid.” Angel grimaced.
“I hate to burst your bubble, but I undid all the shit you tried to pull today! The dress, the caterer, baker, and florist. They all send their one finger salute to you bitch!” Raine retorted. “I’m ready to give you my 5-finger salute!”
“Angel, what did you do? You want to explain yourself?” Jax asked.
“I swear Jaxton, I have no idea what she’s talking about. I didn’t do anything. She’s trying to frame me so you will kick me out and ban me from the clubhouse. After all my daddy did for this club! He’d be so disappointed.” Angel cried.
“Oh, that’s hilarious! Priceless! Do ya’ll actually fall for that load of shit?” Raine laughed.
“Baby, is everything ok and still on for Saturday?” Jax asked.
“Yeah, thanks to me, AGAIN!” Raine retorted.
“So, everything is fine?” He asked again.
“No, Jax. Everything is far from fine. I have never asked you for anything other than being faithful to me and having my back. But I am asking now. I want her gone, now tonight!” Raine demanded.
Jax sighed. “Let’s be reasonable. Think this through. You’re a little upset right now. Let’s take time to calm down.”
“Oh no, we are beyond reason and calming the fuck down. We are so passed that point, a long time ago in fact. There are other things she’s done, petty shit!” She retorted.
“I didn’t bother you with it as I know how you have so much more on your shoulders. But one way or another, this is ending tonight!” Raine warned.
“What do you mean?” Jax asked.
“It’s simple. I hate to be that girl that gives an ultimatum, but I’m going to anyway. Either you send her packing, or I pack. Your choice.” Raine explained.
“Now baby, don’t be irrational. Let’s calm down and figure this out.” Jax soothed.
“No. The time has passed to calm down. There’s nothing to figure out. Plain and simple. HER or ME! Now choose!” Raine demanded.
