Chapter 12 One of the sluttiest women of the year
Chandler sat on the sofa, since she left, there are many irritations in his heart, but cannot say exactly why.
With the phone in his hand, he didn’t dare to call that number but had to call another one.
“Help me see where Susan is now.” He ordered calmly, ignoring the surprise on the phone, and hung up.
After a while, the call came through. He looked at it and picked up the phone.
Without waiting for him to speak, the caller reported her location accurately.
“Susan has been picked up by Mr. O’Connor and is now on her way to the hospital.”
He hung up the phone, his heart grew heavy with discomfort. Chandler sneered, that’s her nature, how could she be his wife without some tact?
He stepped on the vague blood on the ground and then went to get the car from the garage.
Susan was tired and had a faint greenish tinge under her eyes. She got into the car and fell asleep.
Alex watched the road with rapt attention, and the car was silent.
Soon it was on the highway, and the person next to him woke up at some point. Looking at the road ahead, she was seriously wearing a tired look.
“Get more sleep.” He said in a warm voice.
Susan shook her head, “Almost there, when these are almost done I can rest well.”
After that, there was another moment of silence.
The car stopped at the hospital entrance, Susan unbuckled her seat belt and was about to open the door to get out when the side door was suddenly opened.
Chandler stood in front of her with an expressionless face and said coldly, “Get out.”
She paused, not knowing what kind of expression she should show, only said, “I don’t need to change my clothes, the money … I have …”
Chandler dragged her out of the car. Looking at the jacket she was wearing, Chandler ripped that off and tossed it aside.
Susan froze, she was confused as she watched the jacket fall to the ground.
“Susan, you’re no better than that. You’ll do anything for money.”
Someone was talking in her ear, but she only felt her head buzzing, as if a million kinds of bees were stirring their wings.
She couldn’t hear what the person was saying, except that she was being pulled by Chandler toward his car when she woke up.
Alex came over and interrupted them both.
Susan stopped as well, and her hand yanked back as hard as it could, and Chandler’s face instantly fell.
“How come I didn’t see you were such a bitch, even seducing people so tactful.”
He laughed in anger, for her Chandler himself did not know what to say.
Chandler laughed out loud at her silence. “You’ve got your sister killed and you’re still seducing people over here, Susan, you’re full of tricks, and now you’re cursing your father.”
She lifted her head and murmured, looking at the person in front of her. Her lips moved, but she couldn’t say a word after all.
It was Alex, in turn, who said impatiently, “That’s enough.”Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
“Fuck off.” Chandler glanced at him, furious, “As a lover, you help it too soon.”
It was like something was pinching in her throat, not a word could come out, she looked at the two people facing each other in front of her and at the people gathered around her.
She suddenly woke up with a start and realized that this was not a dream, this was reality.
Then she looked down at his clothes, tattered and threadbare.
“This woman can be cheap, I did not expect there are such bitchy women, what bad luck …”
“I take a picture, one of the bitches of the year will be a hit.”
…
She followed the voices one by one and looked at them with vacant eyes.
Alex’s afterglow glanced at her face was a little off, his heart startled, patted her shoulder and said nervously, “Are you all right?”
She did not make a sound and raised her eyes to look at the man in front of her.
Chandler could not see Alex in the first place, and now his concerned look was, in his eyes, nothing more than a means for Susan to feign pity and curry favor.
“Come back with me.” He stepped forward and took her hand, trying to lead her out of here.
Before she could go far, she abruptly pulled her hand out.
“I have things to do, I’ll come with you when this is over,” Susan spoke calmly. He pulled himself while she was unmoved.
“What is it?” He laughed sarcastically.
Before she could say anything, someone next to her spoke up, laughing loudly, “What else could it be? Isn’t she here to see the baby?”
Susan looked over at the voice, her eyes slightly red as she glanced at him.
“The baby has gone as you wish, now I just want to go see my father.” She turned around to look at Chandler, a man she could no longer love or hate, but only felt weary.
Susan was weak and spoke in a much softer voice.
The thin sound of discussion around her could be heard clearly as if she had gone back to that day when it began.
She closed her eyes and the voice got louder.
“Still playing pitiful when it comes to this, you think you are Karen, think this …”
She was so tired that she opened her eyes and interrupted him without hesitation, snarling, “What do you know! You don’t know anything! Who are you to say that!”
Chandler was stunned, looking at the woman in front of him with slightly red eyes.
As she roared out, she tried to walk towards the hospital, but the next second she turned around she fell to the ground.
