Chapter 33 Betrayal
Matthew thought of calling Aleia to inform her that he gave Nathalie a ride home. He felt guilty for not informing her beforehand. Aleia did not say anything about working with Nathalie but he knew that deep inside she was worrying.
He even doubted if Nathalie was not feeling well. She seemed to be fine and happy when they had lunch earlier. He thought that Nathalie was just trying to make some excuse to be with him. He even went to the balcony to catch some air. He did not know if he was doing the right thing.
After a few minutes on the balcony, he went back inside to tell Nathalie that he would be going home. But she heard her talking to someone on the phone. He felt uneasy to see that she was using his phone. What the heck?
“Nathalie, who are you talking to?” he asked as he came closer to snatch the phone from her. His heart raced when he saw her wife’s name in the register.” What did you tell her?” He clenched his fist. Still trying to control his emotions. Nathalie has a heart problem.
“Matt, relax,” Nathalie said. She even held his hand and she was shaking a bit. Matthew tried to pull his hand but Nathalie held it so tightly. “I just told her that you dropped me home. I know you were worried about it.”
“I’m going back to the office now. So let go of me,” he said as he pull his hand.
“No. Don’t go yet. I prepared some wine for us, Matt.” She let go of his hand and hurried to the center table to get the wine she prepared.
“What are you doing? I still have some works to do,” Matthew said.
“Please, Matt. I did not attend your wedding. I have not congratulated you. Please drink that as my best wishes for you,” Nathalie said cunningly.
Matthew was just staring at the glass of wine. He did not know if she was telling the truth. But somehow he thought to just do what she said so he can go and get her wife wherever she was. And, it is just a glass of wine. He took a few sips of it while looking at her. She was smiling at him as if she had won a battle. He even shook his head, his imagination is going overboard. It is just a glass of wine. So he drank all of it.
He gave the glass to Nathalie. “Am I free to go now?” Nathalie just nod so he turned to go when he noticed that something was not right. His vision became blurry and his head spun a bit. He tried to remain intact when Nathalie hugged her from behind. She pressed her body to his.
“Do you need help, Matt?” she said smiling.
“I’m good,” he lied. Nathalie did put something on his wine to make him feel dizzy. He needed to pretend that it doesn’t affect him so he would not take advantage of the situation.
“I know you are not, my love. I put something to make you sleep. It won’t affect you right away. But what if you doze off to sleep while driving? It’s dangerous. So why not stay for a while,” she said seductively. She was also kissing his nape and touching his chest slowly.
He tried to stop her and threw his hand.” Stop it, Nathalie. You planned all of this. I will leave now, he said and tried to walk away. But Nathalie blocked his way.
“I told you, it’s not safe to drive after drinking the wine. Stay for a while. Give me the chance to let you feel how much I love you. I am all yours, Matt,” she said and came closer to kiss him. He tried to resist and push him away but she was very persistent.” Please, Matt, just one kiss and I won’t bother you anymore.” She even begged and kissed him again.
“Fine. But promise me, after this, you won’t bother us again. And you can quit working with me, too.” She just gave a light nod and continued kissing him. Matthew thought of giving what she wanted cause after all she would give him peace of mind after that.
He kissed her back to her content and even felt her soft lips. But still, Aleia’s lips are more delectable than hers. He noticed that Nathalie was touching his abs and was playing with her fingers there. He somewhat felt hot because of what she was doing. He did not know if it was because of what he drank or if it was male hormones that are reacting.
He was not aware that he also deepened the kiss as he was trying to explore Nathalie’s body. And Nathalie was delighted with it. She felt victorious and even took off his shirt. They were in the living room but nobody was home. She intentionally told the maids to go somewhere.
Nathalie pushed him onto the sofa after stripping his shirt. He was aware it was wrong but he does not have the strength to stand. He felt tired and sleepy. His eyes are heavy. He even closed his eyes to sleep when he felt something heavy. Nathalie just sits on his manhood and grinds his body. Trying to create friction out of it.
“Shit!” he hissed.” What are you doing, bitch? I thought you just wanted a kiss. Stay away. This is wrong.” He kept on pushing her away but Nathalie kept on grinding.
“I was wrong. I wanted more, Matt. Please,” she said as she lowered her body. She was also half-naked and started to kiss his neck.
“Stop it, Nathalie.”
“Hush! You are not a saint, Matt. You like it, your body is responding. Let me do the job. I know that you are sleepy,” she murmured then kissed him again on the lips.
“Nathalie! Zach!”
Matthew opened his eyes immediately when he heard Aleia’s voice. She was standing near the doorway. He tried to push Nathalie and stood. He paused for a while when his head started to spin again.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Ale, sweetheart, please let me explain It is not what you think it is,” he said as he walked slowly to her.
Aleia laughed while crying.” You were making out with her. What else do I need to hear?” she said. She wiped her tears while Nathalie was smiling vigorously.
Matthew kneeled in front of her and grabbed her hand.” She put something in my wine. I feel so weak right now. She said she just wanted a kiss and will leave us alone after.” Matthew explained.
“Lame excuse! In the first place, you should not be here. The company has a lot of drivers to give her a ride. But you choose to do it yourself. Zach, you are not a CEO for nothing. You should know when to refuse a deal.”
“You arrived earlier, sis. You missed the real show. I was preparing for a more entertaining one. Tsk,” Nathalie interrupted.
“Ale, I’m sorry,” Matthew said. He hugged Aleia’s waist.
“Don’t call me sister, Nathalie, because not even a single drop of blood is connecting us. You grew up from a lie.”
Nathalie’s eyes widened. She run to her to attack but Matthew hugged Aleia to protect her.
“What did you say, Aleia?”
“I am so tired, Nathalie. You can ask your mother about the truth.” She pushed Matthew away and run outside.
Matthew tried to catch her up but Aleia left immediately. He just watched her car as it vanished from his sight.
“Matt, it’s not safe for you to leave. You might doze off to sleep,” Nathalie said when he was about to start the engine.
“I don’t care. I’m not safe here, either,” he answered and left.
He tried to call her but Aleia refused to answer. He went home directly hoping she went home after that. But she was not at home yet.
