His Possessive BedSlave

CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

“Hey, are you ok?” I put down the pen and leaned back in the swivel chair. “Zeus.”

“Yeah, I’m ok, Dane,” I replied while holding my temple.

“You’re not.”

“Will you be mad at me if I will tell you that I murdered Dylan in my thoughts?” I heard her scoff and sit in front of me.

“Honestly Zeus, I still don’t believe that Yara is pregnant with Dylan’s child. Especially when he send me out of the hospital. I thought he wanted you to get along. But he said he sent me away to show you that you have no chance ni Yara. Still, I don’t believe in her. But — “she paused and look at me.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

“But what?”

“Dylan told me he will announce it to the Family on dad’s Birthday. That he will be a father soon.”

“Fuck!” I scoff. So, Dylan is the real father? Because Dylan wouldn’t dare to let his daddy know if he is not.

“At first, I thought Dylan wants to mess with you. Like what he did to the three he wanted to help you, too. But he said he likes Yara from the start. What he said during Juicy’s baptism, he said to me he meant it.”

“Fuck,” I hissed and hold my temples. So, is there really no hope that we will ever get back together?

“Zeus mah men!” We both looked at when Jace entered.

“What do you want?” I reluctantly asked him and drank some water.

“I just want to ask your opinion about Yara.” I stopped drinking and frowned at what he said.

“What about her?”

“Customers are looking for her because she hasn’t performed for a long time. I called her and Dylan answered and told me that Yara quit her job because she needed a break. She has a contract with us. That’s a breach of contract. But Dylan said he would pay for the damages. So, what now? Let Dylan pay at least two mansions for each of us.” He was accompanied by laughter.

“You’re a fucking twat, fucker,” Dane complained and slapped Jace.

“Ow it’s you, Dane, I thought it was just a hologram? I changed my mind because Dane heard it. What’s your decision, Zeus?” I closed my eyes to be able to think properly. Fuck is there really no hope for us?

“Let her perform for the last time tonight to bid goodbye to her fans,” I replied without looking at him and kept my eyes closed.

“Ok, I’ll just call Dylan. He dearly loves the mother of his baby and seems to be taken care of and every move of Yara he needs to know.”

“Hey, stop talking about them you imbecile slow.” Annoyed Dane said.

“I’m sorry, I’m just telling the truth about Dylan and Yara that they’re a happy couple now especially that they’re going to have a baby.”

“Shut up! Insensitive slow, leave.” I let Dane talk to Jace and even pushed Jace away.

“Ok, ok, too hot-headed, I think you have menstruation.”

“Stupidity still hasn’t changed,” Dane hissed when Jace came out. “Zeus?”

“I’m ok, Dane.”

“Zeus.”

“I said I’m ok. Can you please leave? I want to finish something.” I heard her sigh and took her belongings.

“If you need some ears to listen, I am here.”

“Thanks.” When Dane leaves I throw all the things on my table. I don’t even know what’s going on with me anymore. My mind now is messed and I don’t know what’s going on and why I’m like this. I miss her, fuck! I fucking miss her so much.

I took the car key to leave. I no longer said goodbye to them and I went straight to BCC. The club is still closed and the bartender and a few staff are currently working on repairs.

I started drinking at the office. The staff also ignored me because they were busy with what they were doing. I just stayed inside while thinking of what the fuck is happening. A few hours later Jace arrived as well and the bar opened.

“Oh, I think you’re drunk.” I did not answer and just continued drinking. “Dylan agreed to let Yara sing but only one song.” I just closed my eyes and didn’t listen to him. I’m a bit tipsy too.

“Zeus?” I just looked at him and stare at him. “Talk to Yara and apologize and tell her that you love her.” Love? How can I say I love her if I am also unsure of myself. I miss her but that is not enough basis for me to say that I love her.

“I’m leaving. You’ll take care of her when she arrives,” I said goodbye. Right, when I stood up there was a knock. Jace came over to see who was there.

“Oh, Avel it’s you? Come in.” He widened the opening and Avel came in then approached me.

“Zeus.” I just nodded at him as I asked what he needed. “I’m with Yara and we’ve already talked. Her friend Dylan let me bring her here because he’s busy but he’ll pick her up. She’s downstairs, it’s a bit high so I didn’t let her go up.” I didn’t answer him and just kept staring.

“Is that so? I’m going down,” Jace said and went out first. Avel and I left us here in the office.

“Zeus,”

“Oh?”

“Yara still loves you. She told me everything as well as what happened to her and also who the real father of her child is ——– I mean, then. Shit!” Because I was a bit tipsy I didn’t understand what he said.

“I hope she’s happy.”

“But Zeus, won’t you take her back? You’re the one she loves and not the one with her now.”

“Avel, they’re going to have a child.”

“But —” But he didn’t continue what he was going to say. “All right and I’ll go down too. Yara will be singing right away because Dylan is coming.” When Avel came out, I came out as well. When I came down, I immediately heard Yara’s voice. It looks like he’s on stage.

“This song is for all the broken like me.” That she was accompanied by laughter. “And to you too who are broken because I will leave.” The audience’s voice growled. She looked at me and smiled at me. “But most of all, this is for you.”

She started singing while looking at me and occasionally at the audience. I don’t know if it was brought on by the right amount of alcohol but I feel like the song she sang was really built for us. Everything we went through then and it happens to us now.

Our first acquaintance. The tattoo we did once on her birthday. When I steal alcohol from my grandfather and we were drinking together on the rooftop of the school. Our plans for the future are that we will be together for life. I feel like she meant that to sing for me.

Summer after high school when we first met

We’d make out in your Mustang to Radiohead

And on my 18th birthday, we got matching tattoos

Used to steal your parents’ liquor and climb to the roof

Talk about our future like we had a clue

Never planned that one day I’d be losing you

In another life

I would be your girl

We’d keep all our promises

Be us against the world

In another life

I would make you stay

So I don’t have to say you were

The one that got away

The one that got away

I was June and you were my Johnny Cash

Never one without the other, we made a pact

Sometimes when I miss you I put those records on (whoa)

Someone said you had your tattoo removed

Saw you downtown singing the blues

It’s time to face the music, I’m no longer your muse

But in another life

I would be your girl

We’d keep all our promises

Be us against the world

In another life

I would make you stay

So I don’t have to say you were

The one that got away

The one that got away

The one

The one

The one

The one that got away

All this money can’t buy me a time machine, no

Can’t replace you with a million rings, no

I should’ve told you what you meant to me (whoa)

‘Cause now I pay the price

In another life

I would be your girl

We’d keep all our promises

Be us against the world

In another life

I would make you stay

So I don’t have to say you were

The one that got away

The one that got away

The one (the one)

The one (the one)

The one (the one)

In another life

I would make you stay

So I don’t have to say you were

The one that got away

The one that got away

I didn’t realize that my tears were shed while listening to her finish the song. Fuck, why am I crying? What do I care about that song? She just sang that but it didn’t mean anything.

I approached the bar section and asked for whiskey. When the bartender reached out to me, I left the bar without looking back. I was about to get in my car when someone called me.

“Zeus.”

“Shit,” I whispered when I heard her voice. I drank first with the bottle almost half full before facing her.

“Oh, something wrong?” I asked then opened the door and put the leftover wine on my chair. She approached me and stood in front of me.

“I just wanted to formally say goodbye.”

“Ah, ok.”

“And be thankful for everything you’ve done. That includes for giving me the chance to—-” She didn’t finish what she was going to say when I pulled her to hug her. “Z-Zeus?”

“Fuck, is it me, again, Yara.” I tightened my hug with her.

“Zeus?”

“Can you just be mine again? Can you just tell Dylan that you were really pregnant when you left and you just lied for him to accept because you’re mad at me? I’m going to face his anger. I’ll let him beat me up as long as he’ll just give you back to me.”

“Zeus, what are you saying?”

“Yara, it’s just me again. Please love me again. Please chose me again. Let’s just pretend that you were really pregnant when you left and I’m really the father of your child. I’m ready to be a father as long as you come back. I need you, baby. Can I just be your baby’s father?” I didn’t let go of my hug with her.

Fuck! I feel like when I let go of her I won’t be able to touch her again because she will be gone forever.

“Fuck, Yara it’s like I’m going crazy. It’s like I’m going to lose myself. I just think that I’m no longer the one you love and I can’t be with you anymore I feel I’m going to die. I’m hurting. Please, baby, come back. Please me I’m the father of your child. I can be a good father as long as I’m with you.”

“Zeus, it’s you —-”

“Yes, I’m the one who wants this to happen but I’m hurting. It hurts me to think you’re no longer mine. Yara, it’s hurting and I don’t know why. Please, I’m begging you. I’ll do anything you want, just come back to me. I can’t bear to lose you, baby. It’s like I’m dying of day by day.” I was already crying as I hugged her. I also felt her hug me and caress my back.

“I love you so much, Zeus, and that hasn’t changed.”

“I don’t know how I feel. I’m confused but there’s only one thing I’m sure of — I don’t want to lose you. Please give me another chance. It’s a chance to find out for myself how it really makes me feel.”

“Zeus.” I pulled away from my hug and kissed her while continuing to cry. Fuck, I really miss her. I can’t if we continue like this. I can’t afford to lose her forever.

“Please, tell Dylan that I am the father. Lie to him. I am willing to be a father, Yara. Just stay with me and let’s build the happy family that you want. Me, You, and the baby, I will adopt me.”

“It’s not happy now, because I heard it already.” Yara and I once looked at Dylan who was standing on the side of the fire exit I had exited earlier. He smokes and is also holding a bottle of wine.

“Dylan?” Dylan winked at Yara then drank.

“You should have said that in the private room so no one could hear.” I stared at him. I don’t know what to say. “What now?”

“Yara still loves me, Dylan.”

“No one objected and I didn’t care,” he replied.

“Give her back to me.”

“Okay, but not now. Be a little sober so you deserve to get her back. Come on sweetheart. Let your ex-loverboy mourn first so he knows the worth of what he released. So, when I give you back to him he will know your worth. Make him cry for about ten years.” Yara looked at me then sighed.

“Let’s talk some other time, Zeus. When you’re no longer drunk.”

“Yara, baby.” I held her hand.

“We’re leaving, aren’t we?” Dylan approaches and helps Yara get into the car. But before she finally entered, Yara looked at me and smiled.

Fuck! is she really going to leave me?
