JUST ONE NIGHT
Before going to the bar, Zachary decided to go straight to his condo and change his clothes. He couldn’t help but sigh as he drove his car towards the bar. Samarra’s gentle face haunts him to this day. He appeared to want to drown in alcohol and forget what Samarra had done to them.
“Bro, you’re late,” Primo said as he stood up and led him to their table.
“Yeah, I went to my unit to change my clothes,” he explained, sitting next to Primo.
Ivo looked at him with a malicious grin. “But it appears that… you did something else.”
“Look what?” he inquired of Ivo.
Enzo and Ivo laughed because he couldn’t understand what Ivo was saying.
“Asshole!” He threw the two tissues angrily.
Enzo walked up to him, laughing. “You’re taking yourself too seriously, Zachary.”
“Stop talking! Enzo, I’m not in a good mood.”
Enzo smiled as he raised both hands and looked at him.
“What?” he asked irritably. He thinks that Enzo will never stop teasing him.
“Didn’t you score?” Enzo continued to tease him.
“Why don’t you focus your attention on the dance floor?” he yelled angrily, pointing to the dance floor, where various men surrounded George.
When he saw Enzo’s rage, he dashed over to Georgina. Knowing Enzo, it was excessively possessive and strict with George.
He sighed. “See? You’re wasting your time for me.”
Enzo vanished beside him in an instant. He watched from his chair as Enzo drew George away from the dancing men on the dance floor.
“Problem?” Jarem asked him, noticing maybe he had done a series of drinking alcohol.
He shrugged. He didn’t want his friends to know he was getting married, and the bad thing about the person he had just met was that it upset her entire system.
“Won’t you answer the phone when someone calls?” Jarem asked, his gaze fixed on his cell phone.
His girlfriend Claudel called after they returned from their vacation in Amanpulo. Claudel was heading to Singapore for a photoshoot.
He turned off his phone because he didn’t want to talk to his girlfriend while his mind was still jumbled. Because he could only see Samarra’s face everywhere, he turned now.
Samarra awoke to the cold caressing her entire body and noticed her bathrobe was on. Zach may have adjusted her outfit before leaving without her knowing.
She sat up slightly and leaned against the headboard. What happened to them and Zachary still haunts her. How could she be willing to do more than a just kiss? How quickly respond and retain her status as an expert at kissing her? She had no idea what had transpired earlier or why Zachary had stopped. All she knew was that Zachary pressed him against her waist and that there were murmurs she couldn’t understand.Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
She exhaled a sigh. Nothing would happen if she remembered what had happened earlier. She can’t blame Zachary for everything because she couldn’t stop it. She stood up and went to the bathroom. Soaking in the bathtub to alleviate her anxiety and relax her body.
Before she could get cold, she was forced to get up and take a shower. She put on another bathrobe in the bathroom, and she wrapped a towel in her hair. She wanted to drink and forget, but she didn’t want to go to the hotel bar to have a drink. So, she decided to take Kiel’s minibar inside the penthouse. Different types of wine are available. She took a few cans of beer, which she drank.
She almost winced when the bitterness of the wine hit her throat. One became three until the other four she could barely consume because her eyesight had rotated.
She was no longer able to stand correctly. The towel in her hair she had just thrown somewhere and her bathrobe she had already taken off before she could enter the room. She collapsed on her feet as she fell to the bed. She lost consciousness altogether.
Passed 2:00 a. m. When Zachary and his friend came out of the bar. He went to his car and had no idea where he was going not until he found himself in front of their hotel, as his car had its mind to bring him here. If not for a valet who knocked on his window, he would not go out.
“Sir. Good morning. I will park your car.”
He only nodded and didn’t take the elevator alone, and he just realized that he was in front of brother Zeke’s penthouse.
He punched the keycard in his pants pocket and took it when Samarra fell asleep next to him.
As he turned the door, a dark room opened to him; only the light outside served as his light. Samarra must have forgotten to close the curtains.
He entered slowly, almost stumbling because of the towel scattered on his path. He immediately picked it up, and as Zachary approached, he just frowned when he saw the empty beers scattered on the floor.
“That woman was so stupid. Tsk! She knew how to litter but didn’t know how to clean.” He was annoyed and picked up the clutter on the floor.
When he finished, he immediately went to the room, but he was still at the entrance of the room with a bathrobe scattered. He picked it up again and immediately went straight to the cabinet to get some clothes to wear. Zachary took a quick shower wearing only a white t-shirt and boxer shorts.
He immediately lay beside Samarra on the bed when he exited the bathroom. He was shocked when he found out.
“Damn! Fuck! She was not wearing anything.” He rubbed his forehead and felt a strange heat creeping through his whole being.
He sighed. He decided to pull off his boxer shorts. He wanted to feel Samarra’s warm body.
He carefully placed Samarra on his arm and held her tightly in front of him. He kissed her tenderly on the forehead and closed his eyes completely.
