Chapter 11 Miss Ye, Why Don’t You Take A Picture

For a moment, Linda didn’t know how to feel about Cecil’s words.

Did he really want to… torture her? For some strange reason, she didn’t feel scared or unwilling at all.

Looking at his handsome face, she moved her red lips slightly. “Mr. Bo, you can torture me, but can you please spare my family?”

Cecil raised an eyebrow. “Do you think you’re in a position to bargain with me?”

Linda pursed her lips and replied, “Don’t forget that Leona is also a daughter of the Ye family. If you destroy the Ye family, she will not forgive you after she comes back.”

Cecil snorted and looked away.

“Don’t worry. I have my ways to keep the woman I love happy,” he said haughtily.

‘The woman he loves?’

Linda’s heart sank all over again.

“I see,” she said softly, lowering her head.

“Go get some rest and take good care of your wounds. I don’t want your father to think that I have mistreated his daughter when he sees you again,” Cecil said gruffly.

Seeing that Linda remained rooted to the spot, he frowned.

“Are you deaf?” he asked. Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

Linda finally raised her head, but when she looked into his deep eyes, she immediately lost herself in them. They were like two whirlpools, sucking her in.

She couldn’t believe that she was so close to the handsome and delicate face that she had fallen in love with a long time ago.

Seeing that she was in a daze, Cecil stepped forward and looked at her. “Miss Ye, why don’t you take a picture? It will last longer.”

Coming to her senses, Linda turned away and mumbled, “I’m not deaf.”

“You’d better not be deaf. Go to bed.”

However, Linda still didn’t move.

Not wanting to waste any more time here, Cecil began walking away.

When he passed by her, however, Linda finally spoke up. “Mr. Bo, I’m the woman whom you took an oath with in front of the priest, but I was bullied by your hou

sekeeper. Doesn’t it bother you?” These words piqued Cecil’s interest.

‘How could this woman still have the nerve to ask me for help?’

he wondered, chuckling in amusement.

“What do you want?” he asked.

“She hit me and left me with wounds all over. Shouldn’t she at least apologize to me?”

“Okay.”

Cecil nodded, secretly impressed that this woman had a spine after all.

Linda was not surprised by his reaction. After all, a man like Cecil would never allow a woman related to him to be bullied by others. Otherwise, he was the one who would seem incompetent, and his reputation would be at stake.

Cecil beckoned a servant standing nearby to call Chelsey over.

Then, he walked to the sofa and sat down.

Linda followed closely and sat down next to him without asking for his permission.

Cecil gave her a sidelong glance and sneered, but he didn’t say anything.

Linda bit her lower lip, trying to calm herself down. Although she didn’t know what was on Cecil’s mind, she believed that she could sit next to him as long as he didn’t ask her to get up.

Three minutes later, Chelsey entered the room and respectfully walked up to Cecil.

Although she had seen Linda at first glance, she just pretended as if she wasn’t in the room.

Looking only at Cecil, she asked, “Sir, what can I do for you?”

Cecil turned to Linda, hinting for her to speak.

Linda looked directly at Chelsey and said loudly, “Apologize to me.”

Chelsey’s demeanor changed completely as soon as she turned to Linda. The respectful look on her face turned to a disdainful sneer, and she straightened up arrogantly. “In your dreams, fake. What makes you think I’d apologize to you? Besides, I didn’t do anything wrong.”

Linda’s lips twitched as she turned to look at Cecil. “Mr. Bo, do y
