Still virgin
“Sir, here’s a collection of documents containing partnership proposals from several renowned vendors. Perhaps you can choose which ones are suitable for collaborating with our hotel in the future.”
Mike handed over a stack of documents for Kaivan to read and review. Today, the man’s schedule was busy until later in the afternoon. Luckily, Kaivan had already completed some of the work quite well.
“Have you gone through them?” Kaivan asked as he opened the documents that Mike had just handed over, one by one.
“What I’ve handed over this time is what I believe and the rest of the team believe to be the best options. The decision on which ones to proceed with is up to you.”
Kaivan nodded, starting to cross out names of vendors that he felt should or shouldn’t collaborate with his hotel.
Lately, Four Seasons itself was known for its reputation as one of the most luxurious five-star hotels. Even Travel Leisure and Zagat Survey magazines ranked Four Seasons Hotels 89th among the most luxurious hotels ever. Besides these accolades, Four Seasons Hotels, Inc. had also been recognized as one of the best companies.
Given all the advantages and reputation it held, numerous renowned vendors were eager to collaborate. They hoped to achieve more profits after joining as sponsors of the luxurious hotel.
“I’m interested in having you explore new opportunities for our company to create a private residence. Many wealthy individuals invest their money in luxury homes. And honestly, I’m inclined to expand our ventures in that direction.”
Mike nodded, jotting down Kaivan’s instructions on the tablet he had with him.
While Kaivan and Mike were still engaged in a discussion, outside the room, a guest approached the secretary’s desk. Without hesitation, the guest inquired about the hotel owner’s whereabouts.
“Apologies, Miss Veronica, Mr. Kaivan is currently busy. He instructed not to receive any visitors today.”
“You know well that Kaivan never refuses my presence whenever I visit,” the statuesque woman retorted. Without waiting for approval, Veronica immediately opened the door to the room, surprising both Kaivan and Mike with her sudden appearance.
“I’m sorry, Sir. I had forbidden Miss Veronica from entering. But-”
“It’s okay,” Kaivan interjected. “Both of you can return to your respective places.”
Mike first tidied up the documents he had brought with him. Once they were organized, he left the room together with Kaivan’s secretary.
“Where have you been for the past few days? Why did you suddenly disappear?”
Veronica strolled casually into Kaivan’s workspace. She paid no mind to the fact that the man who had been her companion was busy dealing with stacks of important documents on his desk.
“Business trip to Italy,” the man casually replied without even glancing towards his conversational partner. As he had mentioned, he was indeed quite busy at the moment.
“And you went to Italy without telling me, let alone inviting me?” the woman protested.
“This is a business trip, not a vacation, Veronica,” Kaivan emphasized with a sigh.
Seeing that the man she liked wasn’t paying the slightest attention, Veronica became annoyed. She immediately moved closer to where Kaivan was seated, angling his face to get him to focus on her.
“But why didn’t you reply to my messages while you were there? You didn’t respond to any of my calls, not like you usually do.” Veronica pouted, giving off an impression that she was sulking.
“I told you I’m genuinely busy. Right now, I don’t even have time to entertain you.”
Veronica’s pout deepened. On one hand, she felt puzzled by Kaivan’s less-than-warm attitude, and even when she intentionally put her hands around Kaivan’s neck, he promptly brushed her off.
“Vero, I’ve told you I’m busy right now.”
Before Veronica could respond, the room’s door was knocked again. Kaivan’s secretary entered and immediately greeted the room’s owner.
“Sorry, Sir, if I’m disturbing. But Mr. Tanaka, who visited you this morning, is outside. He wants to say goodbye.”
Kaivan nodded. He rose and walked out to meet the waiting guest.
Meanwhile, Veronica, who had been ignored, clicked her tongue in annoyance. While waiting for Kaivan to return, she faintly heard the sound of a ringing phone. Upon investigation, she realized it was Kaivan’s phone left on his desk. Curious, she peeked at the screen of the smart device. Her irritation grew as she read a message from Anna Maria.
Anne: [Have you had lunch?]
Veronica clicked her tongue again, frustrated with Anne’s overly attentive behavior toward the man she liked. But instead of ignoring it, the blonde-haired woman hatched a plan.
Yes, for once, I’d like to return the embarrassment you caused me the other day.
Veronica, sitting right in front of Kaivan’s desk, glanced toward the door to make sure he hadn’t returned yet. Then the next thing she did was open Anne’s message. Boldly, she replied to the message.
Kaivan: [Not yet. There are a few tasks I still need to complete.]
Anne: [I just finished making Lasagna. If you want, I can bring some to your office.]
Kaivan: [Sure, if it’s not too much trouble, I’d be happy to have some.]
Anne: [Alright then, give me a moment. I’ll prepare it and bring the food to your office.]
Kaivan: [Ok, see you later]
Veronica grinned cunningly. After replying to a series of messages from Anna Maria, she hurriedly deleted all the message history and replies she had written. She thought Kaivan shouldn’t find out about what she had just done.Property © NôvelDrama.Org.
A few minutes later, the phone’s owner returned to the room. Without any guilt, Veronica greeted Kaivan, who still appeared indifferent.
“Don’t you want to go for lunch?” Veronica offered nonchalantly. But if Kaivan agreed, that would be fine too, right?
“No,” he declined immediately. “You can see for yourself how much work I have to finish. If there’s nothing else to discuss, you might as well leave.”
“Okay, I’ll go.” She stood up from her chair and circled around to approach Kaivan. “I’m leaving now.”
Veronica leaned in as if to plant a kiss on Kaivan’s cheek. But quickly, he leaned away.
“Vero, please. No need for all that kissing. I don’t want your actions to be seen by everyone.”
Veronica raised an eyebrow, growing more puzzled by the aloof demeanor Kaivan had displayed towards her.
“Why have you changed like this? Have you found a replacement for me? Or perhaps that wretched woman Anna Maria has managed to captivate you?” she accused with a sarcastic tone.
“No need to bring up Anne,” Kaivan retorted. “For God’s sake, Veronica, I’m busy. I’m just not in the mood to argue with you right now.”
Veronica nodded. In an unexpected move, she once again grabbed Kaivan’s neck and leaned in, suddenly planting a kiss directly on the lips of the robust man.
Simultaneously, Anna Maria appeared, opening the door to the room without permission. Unintentionally, the beautiful woman witnessed the inappropriate scene that Veronica had deliberately displayed.
Kaivan, realizing someone’s presence, turned his head. The next moment, he spotted Anne standing at the doorway, shocked into silence. His face turned red, betraying intense anger.
“Anne… I can explain-”
The woman didn’t care. Instead of hearing Kaivan’s explanation, she chose to leave. Meanwhile, Veronica remained in her position, wearing a satisfied smile. She felt pleased, knowing that her actions had surely infuriated Anne.
Kaivan, not wanting any misunderstandings to occur between him and Anne, immediately rushed after her. Upon reaching their room, he knocked on the door, pleading for his wife to listen to his explanation.
“Anne… open the door,” Kaivan pleaded. “You have to hear my side of the story.”
From inside the room, Anne grabbed a pillow and covered her face tightly. She paid no heed to Kaivan’s persistent knocking, which eventually faded away.

It was already nine in the evening. Kaivan was concerned that something undesirable might have happened, so he decided to enter the room again. He walked to the corner of the room and unlocked the connecting door that linked his room to the room Anne was occupying now.
Kaivan was sure that Anne must have securely locked the main door of her room. Instead of bothering to break it open, he chose to enter through the alternate door.
“Anne…” Kaivan immediately addressed her when he saw his wife sitting by the window. Even her appearance seemed disheveled. “I was really worried about you. You have to hear my explanation.”
“There’s no need for explanations. Why bother thinking about my feelings?” she responded flatly. Her gaze was fixed on the lights of the street outside, adorning the city of London.
“But Anne-”
“Tsk…” She clicked her tongue. “No need for a lot of talking. I forgot that we never really had any kind of relationship,” she denied. “So now, just leave my room quickly.”
Kaivan didn’t care. Without saying much, he lifted Anne’s body. He brought his wife back to her room and seated her on the bed.
“Isn’t your room here now? Besides, what’s so hard about listening to my explanation first?”
“For what?” Anne quickly retorted. “What’s in it for me to listen to all your explanations?”
“Of course, so you won’t misunderstand.” Kaivan’s voice softened. He tried to calm the emotions that were enveloping his wife. “I told you, what you saw isn’t what you’re thinking. I didn’t do anything with Veronica. She deliberately approached me.”
“Oh, really?” Anne narrowed her eyes, skeptical of Kaivan’s claims. “You can do whatever you want, it’s not my concern, right? I don’t care!”
“If you don’t care, then why are you so angry and upset right now?”
Anne was left speechless. Kaivan’s accusation silenced her instantly. He was right in asking that question. If she truly didn’t care about Kaivan’s actions towards Veronica, then why be angry? Was she feeling jealous now? Oh dear, Anne, how could you possibly be jealous of a man who doesn’t even consider you anybody?
Realizing Anne’s inability to respond, Kaivan reached out. He cupped Anne’s cheeks and murmured softly.
“It’s up to you how you feel right now. But one thing’s for sure, I’m not what you’re thinking. If you don’t believe me, you can check the CCTV footage in my office. See for yourself whether I did anything inappropriate.”
Anne remained silent. She was torn between believing and not believing. However, when she tried to read Kaivan’s blue eyes, there was no sign of dishonesty there. Kaivan was being truthful.
“For God’s sake, Anna Maria. I didn’t do anything,” Kaivan tried again to convince her. He was determined to make Anne believe him.
“Why should I believe you?”
“Because you’re my wife,” Kaivan replied quickly.
Rather than believe, Anne scoffed. “You’re going overboard.” The next second, she pushed Kaivan’s hands away from her cheeks. She tried to stand, intending to leave. But it was in vain; Kaivan held her back again, pulling her onto his lap.
“I’m not going overboard,” Kaivan whispered. His hand reached out again, this time brushing away the strands of hair covering the smooth skin of the beautiful woman’s face. “You should trust me because… it seems like…” Kaivan paused for a moment before continuing softly, “I think I’m starting to like you.”
“Nonsense!”
Of course, Anne didn’t believe him. Her memory was still strong about how Kaivan, some time ago, had arrogantly claimed that she wasn’t his type. And now, out of the blue, he was declaring his love for her. What kind of game was this, she wondered. Besides, Anne didn’t want to experience heartache again, like she had before. Count how many times this man had annoyed her.
“In what way should I prove all my words so that you’ll believe?”
Anne immediately shook her head rhythmically.
“No need. In whatever way, I’ll never believe your words. In the past, you clearly said I’m not your type. So why the sudden change? Let’s not forget you once called me nothing more than a nuisance. And now? You’re saying this?”
Kaivan didn’t allow Anne to keep complaining. Instead, he reached for her chin, silencing any potential outbursts with a deep kiss.
Anne’s eyes widened in surprise. She wasn’t prepared for what her husband was doing. With all her strength, she tried to break free. But Kaivan didn’t give her any chance. On the contrary, he deepened the kiss even further.
Kaivan kept kissing, moving his lips over hers. Slowly, tenderly, and Anne found herself involuntarily closing her eyes. She got lost in the moment and eventually started to enjoy it.
With a remnant of consciousness, Kaivan guided Anne to lie down. Without hesitation, he removed the dress clinging to her body until it was completely off.
For a moment, Kaivan was stunned by what he saw. He continued to let his eyes trace every curve of Anne’s body. Then, in the next moment, he resumed his kisses, sweeping his lips across every inch of her body.
Both seemed to be enjoying each other’s touch. Anne often reciprocated what Kaivan did. Until the moment of their union arrived, Kaivan felt something strange.
Regaining his awareness, he raised his head and looked at Anne with a puzzled expression. He was genuinely certain about what he was experiencing. To confirm it, Kaivan hesitated for a moment before he asked.
“Anne… are you kidding me? Are you still a virgin?”
