Mated To My Childhood Bully

More Like Adults

Hazel froze as she heard that deep masculine voice. It was slightly different from what she remembered his voice to be, it sounded more masculine, deeper, and more hot.

She hated to admit that.

She slowly turned towards the direction of his voice and found him leaning against the door casually.

He had on a black suit that clung to his body while making him look hotter than any of her memories of him. His eyes seemed to have gotten sharper and even more beautiful, he has always had beautiful eyes anyways but it seemed like he now knew how to make them look more appealing, his black hair had been left to grow a little bit more than she remembered but all in all, he looked dashing.

“What? You’re going to stand there, saying nothing like the pretty head that you are?” He asked and Hazel blinked several times, taking her eyes off him but she could not understand what her reaction was supposed to be with him.

She definitely was not going to hug him and cry in his arms about how much she missed him.

He exhaled noticeably and pushed back from the door, taking long, graceful, majestic strides towards her.

Hazel quickly took more steps backwards.

“Why are you back?” She asked her first question, grateful to the heavens that she had not stuttered with her first words to him.

But instead of answering her question, he only reached forward and took her phone from her hands.

“Hey, that is my personal stuff…”

“Personal stuffs? When I am involved?” He looked at her.

His intense gaze made her exhale and stop her attempt to get her phone back from him.

“No password? Still as innocent and naive as you have always been?” There was sarcasm in his tone, making Hazel conclude that though his looks changed, he was still the same as she had known him to be, a tease.

“Next time, do not try blocking my contact” He unblocked his contact on her phone.

After a while, he finally handed the phone back to her.

“There you go, my contact is saved as Axel with an heart emoji”

Hazel scrunched up her face as she turned her phone screen on only to find out that he had a passcode to it already.

“What is this? What did you make the passcode?” She groaned.

“My birthday. Unlock your phone if you remember it, pretty head”

“Of course I do remember your birthday. I will never forget the birthday of the one I hate the most”

“Hate is a strong word there, you have sure gotten braver to use that word in front of me” he tapped lightly on her forehead.

The both of them were completely ignoring the presence of the others in the living room.

Clarissa who was behind them shook her head and texted a quick message to Axel.

“Be gentle with her, she loves gentle guys” she texted but Axel never opened her message.

She sighed and shook her head once more.

“He is irredeemable”

“Axel” Rex called out to his younger brother and Axel finally took his eyes off Hazel.

“Happy birthday Rex”

“Thanks Axel” the both of them moved closer to each other and had a hug.

“You might be adding the prefix of an Alpha to my name very soon” Rex remarked as he pulled away from Axel.

Axel scoffed, his signature smirk appearing on his face.

“I think that prefix would be added to my name instead”

“You still have not stopped your vain mission of chasing after the position of the Alpha?” Rex asked and leaned in a little bit to his younger brother.

“It is as vain as you chasing after Hazel for years and still not having her”

The smirk on Axel’s face disappeared and reappeared on the face of Rex who seemed satisfied, having an upper hand.

“It is also as vain as you searching desperately for a mate for the past 8 years” Axel responded.

“It is not like you have one too”

“I don’t have one but I have her”

“Let’s not talk about this, it’s my birthday party and others are staring already” Rex put an end to the talk and moved a few steps away from him before approaching with a grin.

“And more, your pretty head has a crush on me”

Axel’s face squeezed into a sudden frown. Hazel having a crush on any guy was not acceptable especially not his brother.

“I am back now, the stupid crush is coming to an end”

“Don’t be so confident” Rex chuckled and walked away.

Axel turned backwards to see Hazel with Clarissa. She was still trying to unlock the phone.

Hazel walked up to him as soon as Rex was gone and stretched the phone out to him.

“Unlock my phone” she requested.

“It is actually Rex’s birthday as the code”

“Stop with the tease” She groaned and inputted the birthday but it was still incorrect.

“You know his birthday but you don’t remember mine?” Axel asked.

“I mean his birthday is today, it’s just today’s date. No way I don’t know today’s date”

“And I am sure I got your birthday right. You definitely didn’t use my birthday, tell me what you used as the passcode. You are now a man, teasing like a kid is not what you should do” she whined.

“How about teasing you like an adult male wolf would?” Axel questioned and Hazel noticed that there was a sudden change in his voice.

It was like it got lower and was it just her ears? Or did his voice sound husky too? And why did he have to add male to his words.

“Follow me if you wanna get the passcode” He added, turned and walked away.

“Go after him, he can’t hurt you anyways. We both know that” Clarissa urged Hazel.

“I am not sure about that. I can’t say anything about someone I haven’t seen in six years”

“Then you don’t want your phone locked tonight? Just go after him”Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

“If you are not with me in ten seconds, then forget about it”

“Just go” Clarissa urged her the more.

Hazel exhaled sharply and walked after him. Eyes were on the both of them as they left the living room together.

Clarissa took her eyes to Axel and as soon as their eyes met, she gave Axel the look to go ahead.

A lot of people sure knew about their childhood together and wondered if there was going to another session to the childish tease of the both of them.

Axel walked into a dark room and Hazel walked in after him. As soon as she had step in, the door shut behind her and her back was pressed against the door.

It all happened so fast and now the only thing she could see in the dark room was his face and his bright eyes that adorned his face.

His face was so close to her that she could feel his hot breath caressing her face. That feeling of warmth stirred something up inside of her but she tried to ignore whatever it was and that was impossible.

His hand crept up to her face and caressed it gently in such a soothing manner that the urge to close her eyes and enjoy his soft caress overwhelmed her but she held it back.

This was not supposed to be happening to her with him. She was not even supposed to find him handsome in any way.

“Wh… What are you doing?”

“I am only here for the passcode” her voice surprised her. She almost could not call it her own voice.

“You hate the childish teasing, right? How about I make it more adult-ish?”
