Dustin never imagined that Amara would end up begging on her knees before him so soon.
Apparently, she was willing to set everything aside to save Elijah.
Dustin knew very clearly how proud Amara was.
He was surprised.
“What a loving sister you are,” Dustin sald mockingly.
He had been with the Wyatt family for more than ten years and had been at the sisters‘ beck and call at all times. He was practically a slave back then.
He had sacrificed so much, but none of them had ever treated him like a person.
Elijah had only been found and brought home recently, but Amara was ready to abandon her dignity to beg Dustin for him.
“Someone who has given more than ten years of his life to serve the Wyatt family, and a blood relative that you only just met… Are they really so different?” Dustin asked.
Amara did not quite understand why Foxtin would ask such a thing.
Did Foxtin know Dustin?
“No matter how much an outsider contributes to the family, he always remains an outsider. But it doesn’t matter how unfamiliar a blood relative might be, they’re still blood, aren’t they? The two
cannot be compared,” Amara said solemnly.
Dustin felt a chill settle in his heart.
Was that what the Wyatt sisters believed?
“I won’t save him even if you beg me,” Dustin said indifferently.
“Mr. Foxtin, I’m begging you! I’ll do anything!” Amara shouted anxiously.
Dustin was unmoved. He was not interested in ordering Amara around or humiliating her.
“I’m not related to him, and he’s just an outsider to me. Why should I save him?”
Amara was speechless. She could not utter a single word.
Dustin turned to leave, and he did not even turn back for a look.
Amara was distressed.
Delia stared at Dustin as he left. She did not dare to even call after him.
The fifth floor of Moon Pavilion fell silent. After a while people started to leave slowly.
The famous physicians gathered there were all furious about the Wyatt family’s deception. Some of them left harsh words behind.
Amara and Delia did not care. They only watched as Elljah cried in pain.

“Were we… really wrong?”
Simone followed the physicians downstairs.
She did not see Dustin from the beginning. She had no choice but to look for him elsewhere.
“Let’s go, Simone.”
Dustin called Simone from downstairs.
“Dustin, where were you?” Simone asked worriedly.
“I was in the washroom and decided to come down first,” Dustin said as an excuse.
“I need to tell you something. So much happened on the fifth floor just now. It’s such a shame that you didn’t get to see the mysterious Medical Sage…” Simone said happily.
Dustin smiled without saying a word. He led Simone away from Moon Pavilion.
On the fifth floor, Elijah passed out from the pain.
Amara and Delia’s eyes were red with sorrow and anger.
“This is all Dustin’s fault! If it weren’t for him, Eli wouldn’t be in such pain! If it weren’t for him, we wouldn’t have suffered such humiliation!” Amara said viciously.
“That’s right! It’s all his fault! That cursed Dustin!” Delia said furiously. “We can’t let him get away with
this!”
Amara was silent for a moment.
“Delia, I think that Dr. Williams is interested in you. We can work with that,” she said icily. “The Williams family of Honora is mighty and influential. They’ll have a million ways to get rid of Dustin!”
Delia nodded.
At this point, she hated Dustin from the bottom of her heart.
Dustin and Simone spent the rest of the day having fun at an amusement park before heading back to the Langley family villa.
Dustin did not mention anything about the Wyatt sisters, and Simone was smart enough not to bring them
1. up.
After dinner, Dustin asked David about the company’s progress.
“We received the first half of the payment from the Excelsior Group. We’ll start production tomorrow,” David said with a smile. “After completing the Excelsior Group’s huge order, the company will be back in business. We might even hit a new milestone!”
The Langley family was overjoyed.
It seemed like their crisis would finally come to an end
Their conversation was interrupted by a knock.
“Seems like we’ve been having a lot of visitors these days,” David said meaningfully and gestured to Monique to open the door.
Monique opened the door to find a casually dressed young woman in a ponytail.
“Who are you looking for, Miss?”
“I’m Delia Wyatt of the Wyatt family. I’m here to see Dustin,” Delia said icily.
Monique looked puzzled as she let Delia in.
“Dustin Fox!”
Once Delia entered the living room, she glared at Dustin, who was sitting on the couch. She glared at him.
“Miss Delia, may I ask why you’re visiting?” Dustin looked at her with a smile.
Delia forced her temper down.
“Come with me. I have something to say to you.”
After that, she stormed outside.
Dustin got up and followed her.
Delia stood on the doorstep with a stony face.
“Dustin, do you know what trouble you’ve caused us?” she asked sarcastically.
“Nope. Please enlighten me, Miss Delia.”
“Hah!” Delia scoffed.
“You injured Dr. Williams today at Moon Pavilion. He’s not just anyone, you know! He’s the eldest son of the Williams family from Honora!”
“So?” Dustin seemed unfazed.
“Do you have any idea how serious this is?” Delia frowned.
Was Dustin a fool?
This was the Williams family from Honora they were talking about! How could he be so unbothered about this matter?
“Dustin, you injured Alvin Williams. Do you think the Williams family will just let that go? They’ll kill you!” Delia shouted.
“Miss Delia, are you here to warn me?” Dustin looked at her mockingly.
“You assume too much,” Delia said coldly.
“I have a personal tie with Alvin. If I put in a word for you, it might save your life, though you might lose a limb or two anyway.
“But I have some conditions. You must tell me how to treat Elijah and relieve his pain.”
When she said that, Dustin chuckled.
So, Delia was here to make a deal.
“You hate me, but you’re willing to plead with the Williams family to save my life?” he asked mockingly.
“I would love to see the Williams family tear you apart!” Delia said with gritted teeth. “But I’m more worried about saving Eli right now…”
Although Delia said that, it was not really what she wanted.
She had discussed everything with Amara. Once she learned how to treat Elijah, they would abandon Dustin.
They would remain unaffected and watch while Dustin was beaten.
“I would never dare to have you beg for me, Miss Delia” Dustin’s face was full of mockery. “My life isn’t worth anything, so it doesn’t matter if I live or die.”
Delia’s face stiffened for a moment before it turned red with anger.
She could tell that Dustin was mocking her.
“I’m giving you an easy way out. Don’t throw my offer away!” Delia said. “The Williams family will crush you like an ant if they want.”
Dustin looked indifferent, which only made Delia angrier.
“You won’t even survive for three days. Mark my words!” she said threateningly.
“Are you sure about that?” Dustin snickered.
“The Williams family is powerful. You’re nothing but a dog that the Wyatt family kicked out of our house. What makes you think you can go against them?” Delia said scornfully.
“Then, let’s see what happens.” Dustin was not interested in talking to her anymore.
Delia stomped her feet in frustration.
“Dustin, I’ll do you a favor since you’ve been in the Wyatt family for more than ten years. You may not mean much to us, but you were a decent dog that we kept around. I’ll make sure you have a good funeral,” Delia said viciously.
“I think you’d better plan Dr. Williams‘ funeral instead,” Dustin said flatly. He left her outside and walked into the villa without a second look. Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
Delia trembled in rage and fury.
“He doesn’t know what’s coming for him!” she cursed.
