My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey)

Chapter 2667

"""Come on, let's go home." The man said.

His voice was deep and calm.

Sabrina stomped her feet, "But Daddy! Mommy isn't being nice to me! You have to punish her for me!"

"Sabrina, you know that I love your mother more than anyone else in the world. I will never argue with her. On top of that, she loves you very much. If she's treated you like this, then you need to ask yourself, what did you do wrong?" Matthew said calmly.

Angelica felt like the victim in this situation.

"I didn't do anything wrong! I was right!" She yelled.

"Enough!" Matthew interrupted sternly. "I'll only tell you once more, let's go home!"

Sabrina was reluctant.

But she was scared of Matthew.

She didn't dare to act out in front of Matthew.

She had to keep her feelings to herself and do as her father told her to.

Dory had been watching from a distance. She couldn't take her eyes away from Matthew.

That man was so handsome.

He looked like an angel from heaven.

That's what Dory thought to herself.

After Matthew had walked out of sight, Dory snapped out of her imagination.

She quickly ran back to Selina.

Dory soon made her way back to Selina.

Selina was still standing in place, like a statue.

She then whispered, "It's okay madam. It looks like Sabrina's daddy came to take her home. She's okay now. She followed him into his car." But Selina was quiet.

She turned to look at Dory and nodded, "Alright.

You should go home now. I'll be fine."

But Dory was still worried about her.

She kept quiet and stood at a corner, keeping an eye on her.

Soon, a tall man appeared.

It was Matthew.

Matthew's heart ached when he saw Selina.

He had been at the company when he received a call from Selina. He quickly rushed over afterwards.

Matthew walked up to Selina and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Oh, Selina."

Selina looked up at him and said, "Matthew, Sabrina... that girl..."

She was at a loss for words.

He gently replied, "Don't worry, she's in the car. Everything's alright now."

Selina sighed.

She then said, only wanted her to spend a few days in the suburbs to teach hera lesson. I never expected her to disappoint me so badly. Tell Matthew, am I a bad mother? Did I fail to teach her to be a good person?"

S

"No, don't blame yourself for this. Sometimes, it's not about how we educate her, it's just her nature." Matthew replied.

"Her nature?" Selina murmured, "But she's our child. She shouldn't be this bad. How did she end up like this?"

Matthew comforted her, "Sabrina

wasn't born evil. She's just gotten this way because we've spoiled her too much. We'll make it a point to be stricter with her from now, she change for the better in time.

After a brief pause, he continued, "Educating a child doesn't happen overnight. It's a long and continuous journey that needs to take its time. You can't rush it. The more you try to rush it, the more mistakes you'll make along the way." novelbin

Selina reflected on this and nodded.

"Let's go home."

Just as they were about to leave, Selina remembered that Dory was still watching her at the corner. She walked over to her and then patted her head. "It's alright now little girl. You can go home now." Matthew carefully observed Dory as Selina spoke to her.
