Chapter 29
Chapter 29
Esther gripped her fists. If Bradley did not come to see her, she wanted his and Liliane’s son to die with
Tinkerbell.
“Madam…” Cole sighed. He did not expect Tinkerbell, who had been lively and fine, to be gone so
soon either.
“Hold on. I’ll call Mr. Warner.”
The clients of this private hospital under the Warner Group were either rich or influential.
Although Esther had spent five years in prison, most people could still recognize that she was the main
character of that wedding of the century back then, and that she was also the woman Bradley had
personally sent to prison five years ago.
They were curious, probing, and confused as they looked at Esther and the mini coffin next to her.
Esther put a hand on the lid of Tinkerbell’s coffin as if the girl would give her strength somehow.
Cole called Bradley to tell him about the situation in the lobby. The latter paused, and a glimpse of
panic flashed in his eyes,
Many people moved about in the hospital lobby, but Esther remained unfazed as the people scanned
her and took videos of her.
With a “ding” from the elevator, Bradley walked to Esther in long, hurried strides, looking moody.
Ever since he discovered that Esther had saved his life, he could no longer be as determined and cold
to her when facing her.
“Esther, you-”
Esther did not give him a chance to speak as she threw the maternity test result in her hand on his
face. With reddened eyes, she questioned, “Bradley Warner, how does it feel killing your own child?”
Bradley caught the test result with both hands and flipped to the last page. He scowled and asked
impassively, “You still think that those b*stards are mine?”
“Tinkerbell is your daughter!” Esther cried in anger and resentment. “Do a paternity test!”
Bradley looked at the pitiful state Esther was in and could not help recalling the young Esther, who was
so small yet so incredibly brave in the surveillance recording.
“Will you stop fussing as long as I go through with the paternity test?”
Bradley gave in in the face of his savior.
“Yes, do the paternity test, and Tinkerbell and I will never disturb you again.”
Bradley’s eyes were cold, and his tensed jaw brimmed with indescribable intimidation.
“As you wish.”
He turned around promptly, and in that instant, his back and the back Esther saw in the operation ward
overlapped.
Last night, he had been this cruel and cold as he robbed her of her freedom and forced her to donate
her bone marrow to Felix.
If it were not for him… Tinkerbell might not have died!
Tidal waves of hatred devoured Esther’s rationale, and she tasted blood. She swiped at the crimson. Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
liquid on the corner of her lips. Her pale face was barely colored, the only exception being the blood on
her lips that screamed bloodthirst.
