My Invincible Husband Has Returned

Chapter 12

Chapter 12

“That’s negotiable as long as you’re obedient,” said Trent.

At a wave of his hand, Tripp and the others let go of Camilla and stepped aside.

Celena rushed over to help Camilla up and said with great sorrow, “I’m sorry, Camilla. I’m sorry! It’s all my fault.” Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Camilla leaned against Celena as she was weak. Her clothes had been ripped into pieces.

She wiped the blood off the corner of her lip and said, “It’s not your fault. I’ve been working here for years. I’ll just treat it like I’ve been

bitten by a dog.”

Camilla felt resentful, but it was not toward Celena. She did not regret helping Celena. Trent was the only person she hated because he was the culprit.

Just as Celena said, Trent was a man who ruthlessly harmed Jovie who was just a child. What else could he not do?

Trent had a faint smile as he looked at Celena and Camilla. He said, Celena, finish all the drinks on the table, and I’ll consider letting her go.

Hearing that, Celena walked up to the table in big strides, picked up a glass, and knocked it back.

After she finished one drink, she looked up and said, “I’ll drink.”

Just as Trent thought Celena would continue chugging the drinks on the table, Celena took out the paring knife from her purse and held it in her hand.

While pretending to be grabbing the drink in front of Trent, she suddenly stabbed at him and shouted, “Go to hell! Pay your crimes with your life!”

Trent’s eyes widened. He quickly turned his body, but Celena still cut his arm. Blood immediately started flowing.

“B*tch! Celena!” Trent exclaimed.

He held his injured arm and kicked Celena so hard that she landed next to Camilla. Celena threw up blood because of that kick.

When she looked up, she saw Trent so infuriated that he took out his gun and pointed it at her. He bellowed, “You bitch! You want me to die? You should die first!”

A gunshot could be heard!

There was a spark from the gun and the bullet shot toward Celena at the speed of light.

Right at that critical moment, Camilla exhausted all her energy to hug Celena.

The bullet shot through Camilla’s back and blood kept gushing out. In an instant, her blood-stained Celena’s white dress. The red splashes of blood looked like winter berries in the snow.

At that moment, a few Jeeps sped toward the Nightwalker Club and stopped abruptly at the entrance. The screeching sound of the brakes was piercing.

As soon as the cars stopped, gunshots could be heard. Liam’s expression darkened. He was seeing red at that moment. The

murderous intent he exuded was overwhelming as he rushed into the club.

“Hurry!” Liam bellowed.

He kicked the main door of the club down, shattering the glass. His speed and strength were already pushing the limit at that point.

Meanwhile, Trent was so infuriated that Camilla took a bullet for Celena that she fired a few more shots at Camilla’s back.

He pulled Celena up and repeatedly slapped both her face. The final slap he gave was so powerful that he sent Celena flying and smashing through the door.

As soon as Liam arrived, he saw a person flying out of the room. And that was the person that was on his mind for seven years.

Celena landed next to Liam’s feet like a broken doll. She even threw up a mouthful of blood.

Liam’s gaze darkened and he hugged Celena while feeling heartbroken.

Celena was on the brink of dying. When she saw the face in front of her, tears immediately gushed down her cheeks.

He finally returned!

Her Liam, Jovie’s father, finally returned!

Celena looked at Liam while crying. Liam looked at her with tears welling in his eyes as well. They just looked right into each other’s

eyes.

“I’m sorry for being late, Celena.” Liam stroked her face with his trembling hand and said the words that were buried deep down for

years.
