Rejected Luna Queen

Chapter 33

Nesta’s POV

The afternoon sun cast a warm glow over the garden as I settled onto a comfortable bench, the blank canvas resting on my lap.

A gentle breeze danced through the air, carrying with it the fragrant scent of blooming flowers. I took a deep breath, allowing the tranquility of the surroundings to wash over me.

With a small smile, I dipped my paintbrush into a palecie of vibrant colors, each hue a promise of endless possibilities. The colors made my mood pop and my eyes tightened with joy.

The canvas stretched out before me, a blank slate waiting to be transformed by my imagination. I knew I needed them when we passed by an a filled with painting stuff.

I began to paint, I let my mind wander, allowing the brushstrokes to flow freely. The colors mingled and danced across the canvas, creating swirls of light and shadow, shapes and patterns that seemed to take on a life of their own

With each stroke, I lost myself in the act of creation, the worries and troubles of the outside world melting away. The only sound was the soft rustle of leaves and the occasional chirp of a bird, a soothing backdrop to my artistic reverie.

I painted with a sense of purpose, each brushstroke a reflection of my emotions, my hopes, and my dreams. The colors blended and shifted, layer upon layer, building a tapestry of beauty and meaning

Time seemed to stand still as I worked, completely absorbed in the creative process. The world around me faded into the background, leaving only me and the canvas, united in a moment of pure expression

And when I finally stepped back to admire my work, I felt a sense of accomplishment wash over me. The once–blank canvas was now alive with color and texture, a reflection of my innermost thoughts and feelings.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the garden, I set aside my paintbrush and smiled. Painting has always been a source of solace for me, a way to escape the chaos of the world and find peace within myself.

It was something I could do without anyone knowing. And in that moment, surrounded by the beauty of nature and lost in the joy of creation, I knew that I had found my sanctuary once again.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Well, I didn’t always have proper paints. Sometimes, 1 would use mud or whatever colors I could find. The first time I tried painting was when some colors were thrown away, and I decided to make use of them but sometimes there are no colors I use mud in a different color. I shrug like it was no big deal

Luca’s eyes sparkled with interest as he listened intently. “And what did you paint?”

Perhaps stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing the night’s festivities would be just what I needed to shake off the lingering shadows of the past.

With a playful twinkle in her eyes, Elara instructed me to shower and wait for her in her room before disappearing down the hallway.
