Chapter 8
Sabrina had always been aware that Nelson had a hot body. He looked slim in any clothes, yet he was muscular. She marveled at his tiny waist.
Her heart raced when she met his post-shower gaze. She felt a little remorse for not having slept with such a handsome stud.
Looking away shyly because she didn't want to be perceived as a pervert, she announced, "Your mom is looking for you."
She was about to leave when he stopped her in a deep, emotionless voice. "Wait."
As his footsteps neared, she stiffened at the thought of his nudity. He spotted the blush on her ears and nape from behind, her pale skin glowing with a rosy, alluring complexion.
"Have you never seen a naked man?" He walked around her and stood in front of her.
Blushing, she glared at him vigilantly. "What… What are you doing?"
He stared at her in silence, confusing her. Touching her face, she wondered if there was something on her face.
"Nothing. I'll join you downstairs soon."
She was speechless and perplexed by his unexplained behavior. Was it to show off his hot body?
Anyway, she noticed that they got along better once they decided to be siblings.
…
Sabrina went to the first floor. Shannon, clasping her hand, said, "Brina, we're not destined to be mother and daughter-in-law, but don't worry. I will treat you well. You will receive half of the assets,
properties, and stocks under Nelson's name."
Stunned, Sabrina responded, "Shannon, n-no—"
Shannon started persuading her, "Men will not thank you for demanding nothing out of the divorce. They'll just think you're dumb. Don't be blinded by love!"
Sabrina was speechless. Nelson, who had descended the stairs, looked equally baffled.
Shannon added, "Besides, no amount of money can make up for what we owe your family."
Years ago, Jackson and Nelson were saved by Samson, who happened to pass by when they encountered trouble. Samson unknowingly got himself into trouble due to his selfless act and died in a fire.
It was Samson who saved the Tucker father and son, yet Nelson always insisted that he was saved by a woman.
The thought irked Shannon, who went further to suggest, "Since Nelson committed infidelity, he should transfer 100% of his assets to you."
Sabrina whispered, "Shannon, he's your son."
"I wouldn't have given birth to him if I had known he'd be this dumb!"
Sabrina scratched her nose and peeked at Nelson, who shot her a cold and threatening glance. Well, she didn't ask for his assets. It was Shannon who insisted on giving out everything!
Sabrina finally said, "My dad saved lives out of the kindness of his heart. He'd have done so for anyone. I think you have paid back what you owed my family."
Samson was a talented jewelry designer who ran his design company. After his sudden death, the company experienced some internal strife as people wanted a share of it.
In the end, Jackson acquired the now-worthless company, merging it with the Tucker Group until Sabrina was old enough to own it. Jackson handed the company into her hands two months ago.
Shannon, however, thought the company was not enough. She finally decided to transfer the trading company in the industrial park and a business street in Slitton's prime land to Sabrina.
Jackson was equally generous by transferring 3% of the Tucker Group shares to her.
Sabrina came out of the divorce as a millionaire.
Shannon immediately ordered their attorney to work on the divorce agreement. When she turned around, she found Nelson staring at Sabrina.
She kicked him. "Hey, do you agree with the terms?"
Nelson leisurely draped his arms by the sides of the couch. "It's your wealth. It's none of my business."
Satisfied with his reply, Shannon sent Sabrina to fetch the jewelry box from her room. After Sabrina left, Shannon taunted Nelson, "Isn't she lovely? It's not too late to take it back."
"Why would I? I was staring at her because I noticed she had a mole on the tip of her nose." This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
"And was that the only reason you couldn't look away from her? Pfft. Stop lying." She knew her son better than anyone else.
