Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 20

Happy reading….

“Thanks,” Elena said to Jayden as he opened the car door for her.

“You’re welcome,” Jayden replied then closed the car door again after Elena got out.

Before going home, Jayden had told all his maids to go home first. Luckily they didn’t ask too many questions and left the house deserted when Jayden and Elena arrived.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

Elena and Jayden chose to sit on the sofa. They looked at each other as if they were missing each other. Jayden then brought his face closer to Elena. The woman’s thin lips were like a magnet that attracted Jayden to kiss her.

“So when are you going to divorce Hera?” asked Elena after their link broke.

“It hasn’t even been a year, Elena,” Jayden replied making Elena snort.

“So really I have to wait a whole year?” asked Elena.

“Isn’t that the deal?”

Elena rolled her eyes lazily. Averts eyes from Jayden. Even though she didn’t say anything, Jayden could understand if his girlfriend was upset.

“Listen, Elena. When I get everything, I promise to marry you and divorce Hera. Trust me!” Jayden coaxed holding Elena’s hand tightly.

Elena looked back at Jayden and then sighed. “Okay. I trust you, honey,” Elena said at last smiling sweetly.

“Thank you, Elena. I promise to make you happy,” Jayden said carrying Elena in his arms.

The only thing on Jayden’s mind right now was Elena. How to make the woman he loves so happy. At first he did all this to be free from his abusive family but after getting to know Elena while still in high school, his plans changed.

Jayden wants to be free and happy and that has to be with Elena. Seeing how broken and falling apart Elena’s family made Jayden determined to take her away from her parents. It was also what made Jayden reluctant to tell Elena about the problem.

Elena had gone through so much trouble and Jayden didn’t want to burden her with his problems either. That’s why Jayden worked very hard to make all his dreams come true.

Actually Elena is the type of woman who is strong and accepts Jayden for who he is. Evidently when Jayden took Elena to eat at a simple place while they were dating. The woman didn’t mind at all in fact she seemed to really enjoy the food that Jayden bought for her. Even asked Jayden to take her there again another time.

From that moment Jayden felt he had a responsibility to make Elena happy. It doesn’t matter if you have to sacrifice others. Including Hera. That night Jayden didn’t plan to reveal everything but it couldn’t be helped. Hera caught him making love with Elena.

Even though Jayden only planned to make Hera fall in love with him and then he would just leave her. But it turns out that fate wants to make Jayden even more evil.

Indifferent. Jayden didn’t care. All he wanted was to make Hera regret marrying him. Become a barrier between his love and Elena. For Jayden it was a well-deserved punishment.

Jayden won’t let anyone get in the way of his dream. Including the father, Hera or even the people who were demonstrating. One by one Jayden would get rid of them when they were no longer useful.

“This time I will win.”

Hera slightly tightened the scarf around her neck. Even though she was in the room, it turned out that the winter wind that would soon arrive still greeted her skin.

The woman in the warm clothes looked at the watch that was wrapped around her hand.

“Did I come here too soon?” she muttered to herself. She distracted herself by sipping the hot tea mixed with the milk slowly.

“Have you been waiting long?” said someone sitting in front of Hera.

“Not really,” Hera replied, trying to smile even though she seemed stiff. Their last meeting didn’t go well, so it was awkward again. But the man in front of him smiled broadly. It was as if nothing had happened between them.

“Already ordered?” the man asked.

“Yes,” replied Hera quickly.

“Then allow me to order first. Is that okay?” he asked.

“Of course.” Hera nodded slightly.

The man ordered drinks and food from the waiter there. Then he looked back at Hera.

“So what do you want to tell me, Hera?”

Seeing Hera who looked very nervous made her take the initiative to speak up.

“I want to apologize to you, Haidar,” said Hera in a very serious tone.

Since then Hera has never been able to feel at ease. She felt if what she said to Haidar was too much. Even the woman kicked Haidar out of her house with disrespect.

“Actually I have to apologize to you. I interfered too much in your personal affairs. I’m really sorry for making you uncomfortable,” said Haidar. He was the same as Hera very restless because of their problems.

“Okay. I guess there’s no need to worry anymore,” said Hera, finally able to smile without feeling awkward or forced again.

“Yes. That’s better,” replied Haidar, smiling too.

“I’m really afraid that you’ll be angry and it will affect my husband’s business,” said Hera again.

“You mean?” Haider frowned.

“I am very short-sighted indeed. You are a very professional person. I’m really sorry.”

Haidar chuckled. So Hera did all that for the husband who had betrayed her. For some reason it made Haidar’s emotions fluctuate.

‘Why does Jayden have to get Hera as his wife? Hera is too good for a jerk like Jayden.’ Haidar’s emotions in the heart.

“Don’t worry, Hera. I won’t have anything personal to do with work,” said Haidar, trying to be as calm as possible.

“Thank you very much, Haidar,” said Hera looking so happy.

Haidar snorted. “But I didn’t think you would do something like this for a man who has clearly betrayed you,” said Haidar changing his sweet look with a serious look.

“You mean?” Hera’s happy face turned confused there.

Haidar slightly turned his face towards Hera. Bringing their eyes closer. For whatever reason Hera’s brown eyes were so beautiful locking Haidar to keep looking at her.

“What if I offered you a deal?” asked Haidar in a whisper. He couldn’t wait any longer now.

“Offer? What do you mean, Haidar?” Hera really did not understand what Haidar said.

“I will help you destroy Jayden and that woman,” said Haidar then backed away and folded his arms across his chest.

“W-what?” Haidar’s words were like the weapon Hera had needed. Destroy Jayden and avenge everything he did to her. Hera wanted it so badly.

“I know you must really want to avenge Jayden, right?” guess Haidar. Hera never said it but the look in her eyes couldn’t lie. She really hates her husband. And that’s what Haidar wanted. So that the plan can go well.

“Then what do you want from me in return?” Hera understands very well. No matter how good Haidar is, she can’t possibly offer something for nothing in return. After all, destroying Haidar won’t be easy. And Hera hoped that the reward wasn’t…

“I want you to be mine.”
