Chapter 17 Things Seem to Suddenly Become Complicated
Todd came to the sofa and sat down with smiling eyes. He proudly told Calvin, "Thank you for taking my wife and children."
"What?" Calvin didn't understand what he meant.
Todd turned back and pointed to Jocelyn and the two little guys who came in the door and said excitedly, "It's them. Jocelyn bore me a pigeon pair, and I am their father, you know?"
After making it clear that what Todd meant by "wife and children" was Jocelyn and two little kids, Calvin looked gloomy suddenly.
Was Todd the father of Jocelyn's children? Calvin thought.
"How can it be?"
Calvin didn't know how to digest this matter. He just registered to marry Jocelyn. Now Todd said they were his wife and children. Calvin felt like his baby was taken.
"It's true. We were all drunk and drugged that night five years ago. Do you remember it? I had sex with her that night. Oh, I can't believe it. She gave me such a surprise after she left for five years."
Todd was extremely happy. When he saw Tammy running in, he immediately opened his arms to catch her and let her sit on his lap. "Calvin, look at my little girl. Isn't her cute? Do you want one in your dreams?"
Calvin was extremely annoyed. He thought it was obvious that Todd came to show off. The development of the situation was contrary to Calvin's idea.
And what happened to that woman, Jocelyn?
Since Jocelyn had children with Todd, why didn't she tell Calvin earlier?
"Oh, I am so lucky to have a pair of children at once. Ah, I have to say, it's good to be a father!"
Todd was so intoxicated that he held Tammy's small face and said, "Tammy, call me Daddy!"
"Daddy!" Tammy said sweetly and obediently.
"Yep!" Todd was full of the joys of spring.
Calvin heard that Tammy called Todd Daddy. He couldn't help being jealous. Why was he so upset when she called someone else Daddy? He thought.
Tammy smiled brilliantly, revealing a row of small fair teeth. She told Calvin, "Calvin, I have Daddy! But Calvin, don't be sad. You can also be my Daddy!"
Be Tammy's Daddy?
Calvin had a rare smile. He looked at Jocelyn, who came in at the door. He wanted to know what she wanted to do and how she planned to do it.
Jocelyn brought Jeffrey into the house, and then handed the cake box packed in her hand to Tammy, "Tammy, go and give the cake to Sean!"
"OK, Mommy!"
Tammy came down from Todd's leg, took the cake box, and went to find Sean happily.
Todd waved to Jeffrey again. "Come here, Jeffrey, come to Daddy!"
Jeffrey was holding a big box in his arms, which was a very cool new toy bought by Todd. He came to Todd's side and asked him to help unpack it.
Calvin looked at the scene of Todd and Jeffrey getting along well. He was upset for no reason. He, as a "stepfather", was not familiar with the children yet. Now Todd, their father, was here.
It would be fine if their father was anyone else, but it was Todd, Calvin's cousin.
Calvin unhappily pulled his tie and stared at Jocelyn with unfathomable eyes. "Did you know Todd before?"
Jocelyn noticed that the atmosphere was a little tense, especially Calvin's horrible look, and could only say awkwardly, "Yes, I went to school with Bro Todd since childhood, and we have known each other for many years."
Bro Todd?
Calvin never knew that there were so many memories between his cousin Todd and Jocelyn.
Todd suddenly came over, grabbed her shoulder, hugged her affectionately, and unconsciously added, "Sis Jocelyn and I are childhood sweethearts, and we have a good relationship!" Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Sis Jocelyn?
Childhood sweethearts?
Looking at Todd's hand on Jocelyn's shoulder, Calvin narrowed his black eyes slightly, and he looked furious.
Calvin only felt that his male dignity seemed to be provoked. He thought that Jocelyn forgot the agreement between them.
Jocelyn was overwhelmed by Todd's intimate behavior, and could only leave a little distance without any trace.
"Really? Chat yourselves. I'll go upstairs and deal with something."
Calvin said sarcastically and made a nonchalant appearance. He stood up, walked out of the living room, and went upstairs.
Jocelyn was a little worried. Calvin and she had a contract to marry, but now there was a third person, Todd. Would Calvin mistakenly think that she had planned in advance?
It seemed that things suddenly became complicated!
What should she say to Todd?
Todd and Jeffrey had been playing with toys all the time. They had a tacit understanding and were happy. She had no chance to talk to Todd. She could only wait until the time was appropriate.
Todd spent the afternoon at the Austin family. He played happily with his two children alone. In the evening, he had a meal at the Austin family.
At the dinner table, Todd had driven a lot. He said much, "It's all my fault! Jocelyn has suffered a lot because I haven't taken care of her for so many years. I'm really sorry for them!"
"Todd, stop talking and eat!"
Jocelyn wanted him to stop talking, but Todd was drunk and continued, "Jocelyn, don't worry! From now on, I will not let you guys suffer and be bullied. I will let you live a good life and live in a big
house. I will cherish you and let you be my princess."
Todd also grabbed Jocelyn's hand when talking about the emotional situation. Jocelyn couldn't let go of his hand. She was anxious.
Todd's words were more and more ridiculous and she really wanted to hide from here.
Taking a sneak look at Calvin, she found that he was furious, making people scared.
Calvin was drinking unhappily. Listening to Todd's noise really upset him. He felt that today's wine was not good at all.
Todd drank his glass dry and asked, "Is there any more wine? I'm happy today, and I want to drink more!"
"No! It's getting late. You should go back!"
Calvin put down his glass and calmly asked Todd to leave.
"I won't go back tonight. My wife and children are here, and I will accompany them here."
Todd hadn't had time to tell Jocelyn about his lovesickness. How could he go back?
"There is no place for you to live here! I will send you back!"
Calvin called his men and told them to send Todd back to the Garner family.
Todd didn't want to leave. It was Calvin's subordinates who sent him out. Todd complained with a hiccup, "Calvin, you're so mean. I came here before, and you let me live freely. Why not today?"
"There is no reason. Go away!"
Calvin kicked him rudely.
