Chapter 19 Seeing Daddy Again
Maurice’s brows furrowed as soon as he logged into the positioning software.
Since Silas had done it so many times, he had already installed a GPS tracker in Silas’s smartwatch.
Now, the GPS was showing him that Silas was in a cake shop.
But why was he there? Maurice ordered his men to go there first before he got in his car and drove there.
Once he got to the cake shop, he slowly stopped his car outside and saw Silas inside the shop.
Taking off his mask, Maurice walked in with a sullen look.
He seemed so cold that the shop staff members were too terrified to even greet him.
The moment Silas saw him, he turned around.

"Silas. Why did you run away again?" Maurice asked coldly, frowning.
As soon as he finished his words, he heard a child call out to him.
"Daddy!"
The next moment, a small child ran up to him and hugged his leg.
Maurice looked down and saw a girl staring at him with bright eyes. She had a round face, and her hair was neatly tied up in a bun.
Even the heart of a cold-hearted man like Maurice would melt in front of the sweet girl.
Adrian stepped forward and pulled away Aileen’s hand helplessly.
"Why are you casually calling a stranger as daddy? Didn’t Mommy tell you to let go of this bad habit?"
Maurice narrowed his eyes at Adrian.
"It’s you." Adrian looked into his eyes and nodded politely.
"Hello, sir.We meet again."
"Daddy!"
Although he was trying to drag his sister away, she continued to hold Maurice’s hand, looking at him innocently with her bright watery eyes.
Adrian corrected her, "You should call him mister. He is Silas’s uncle."
Aileen nodded three times, smiled sweetly at Maurice, and blurted out, "Daddy."
Hearing that, Adrian was speechless.
Maurice, the ruthless businessman, became softhearted.
He bent down and asked gently, "Why are you here?"
Aileen showed him the menu and said with excitement, "We came here to choose a birthday cake for Mommy!"
Maurice glanced at Silas, stroked Aileen’s hair and smiled.
"Where do you live? I’ll drop you off at your house."
Adrian pulled Aileen into his arms and looked at Maurice warily.
"Our mommy doesn’t like us to reveal our house to strangers."
Hearing those bold words, Maurice burst into laughter.
"Adrian! Aileen!"
Kimora rushed into the cake shop, gasping for breath, and when she saw a man in front of the kids, she immediately rushed to their side.
"Kimora!" the twins called out in unison.
"Excuse me, sir.Are you the one that took the kids away?"
Standing in front of Maurice, Kimora glared at him.
"No.Daddy is a good man!"
Aileen held Kimora’s hand and shook it.She acted like a spoiled child, making it impossible for Kimora to be mad, Even Maurice found Aileen to be adorable, He couldn’t help but wonder why Silas was not being so good and obedient like her.
It was true that girls had a closer attachment towards adults than boys did.
Maurice looked at Silas, sighed, and held his hand.

"No! You are so annoying!"
Silas shook off his hand and rushed towards the door.
"Silas!"
Maurice hissed with a serious look in his eyes.
The next second, several bodyguards blocked Silas’s path.
With a smile, Corbin opened the car door and said, "Mr.Gorman, please stop.
Your uncle is worried about you.
Please get in the Silas looked around to find a way to escape, but he knew that there was no chance for that now.
He snorted before he waved goodbye to Adrian and Aileen, quietly walked to the car, and sat down.
"Why is Silas angry all of a sudden?"
Standing on tiptoes, Aileen looked towards the car in confusion.
At the same time, Adrian waved to Silas.
Seeing the reluctant look in Silas’s eyes, Maurice came up with an idea.
"Corbin, buy the most expensive cake for them…"
He then glanced at Silas, and added, "In the name of Silas."
Silas froze when he heard those words, but he did not say anything and just tapped his fingers on the seat.
Corbin gave them a meaningful glance before he opened the door and got out of the car.
