Talented Wife 2
Five years later, the grand hotel lobby was bustling with excitement, gearing up for a lavish bash. Outside, a sleek, limited edition business car pulled up, flanked by a line of bodyguards, ready to greet the man stepping out. Johnny's tall frame descended from the car, his face etched with seriousness. "Is Night here?" he inquired.
Night, a renowned international doctor known as Dr. Miracle, was rumored to have the power to bring the dead back to life with her incredible medical skills. Unfortunately, she was shrouded in mystery, making it extremely challenging to reach her. Johnny had been trying to contact her for five years without a single reply.
"Not sure. No one's ever known what Night looks like. She might have been here."
Frowning, Johnny had come to this event only upon hearing the news of Night's possible appearance. Tonight, he was determined to find her.
Upstairs in a private room, a refined and beautiful woman stashed away a silver needle in her purse. She wore sunglasses and a mask, concealing her face entirely.
"Don't worry, he'll wake up soon. Just follow this prescription, and he'll be healed before he knows it," she said.
"Thank you so much Dr. Miracle!"
One major reason why people found it hard to locate Night was that no one ever imagined Night to be a very young woman.
Alina didn't linger long, leaving the room and heading for the elevator. Just as she descended, she received a call from her grandfather, George Chavez. After listening to George for a moment, Alina said, "Grandpa, I've barely returned to Enkmelo, and you're already talking about blind dates. I'm not interested to join in, even if that guy is your old friend's grandson. Plus, I have a son. Who'd marry me?"
As Alina stared at her reflection in the elevator glass, she removed her mask, revealing a small, delicate face with flawless features and skin as soft as a feather. Looking at that face, no one could guess that it had been covered in scars five years ago. Alina smirked, her beautiful reflection in the elevator mirror smirking back. She was back.
But now, she wasn't the same silly girl she used to be, once called Diana. Now, she was Alina, from the famed Chavez family in Dubmeath. She had once been lost to them but had now reconnected with her family.
Back then, in the midst of the fire, she struggled to crawl outside. If it hadn't been for George arriving in time, she might have actually lost her life.
"Alina, I've heard that a lot of people are looking for Night. Be careful," warned George.
"Don't worry, Grandpa."
For years, many folks have been on the hunt for her. It was not a recent thing. She got used to it ages ago. She had kept her identity under wraps so well that no outsider had ever tracked her down. If it weren't for her stepsister's setup back then, she wouldn't have ended up being seen as a simpleton, rescued by Johnny, losing all her memories, and with an intellect barely reaching a few years old.
Unknowingly, the elevator stopped on the first floor while Alina was on a call and didn't notice the doors opening. Right then, a man with a bunch of bodyguards walked in.
Alina was about to step out when she heard George on the phone saying, "Alina, there's something else. Danny sneaked back with you."
""What!"

Ge. Chapter 2
Danny Chavez was her kid, horn under crazy circumstances when she crawled out of that burning warehouse and gave birth out in the snow. When she woke up, she found her baby alive and well. She made it through. But only Danny made it out of the three. The other two might have been lost to the flames,
"Danny just messaged me, and said he's at the bash too. Didn't you see him?"
Alina hadn't, and then a voice suddenly said, "Going up or heading out?"
Alina's eyes widened. That voice was so familiar. She whipped around and spotted this man in a suit. No extra expressions on his face, but it felt like he brought an icy chill, a weighty vibe, like a king stepping in, incredibly imposing,NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
Seeing that familiar face, Alina's pupils dilated, her heart clenching a bit tighter. Countless memories crashed over her like waves. The despair from five years ago still lingered within her, a feeling she couldn't shake.
It was Johnny!
Inside, she was cursing him like crazy. This jerk, even if he turns to dust, I'd remember him!
