The Cursed Wolf’s Love

Groaned

Queen Lucia dabbed the napkin on her lips and put it down on the table. Everyone has finished their lunch. Two servants started to clean the table while everyone remained seated on their respective chairs.

“Today Adolphus didn’t bring the handmaiden,” Lucia said, grabbing everyone’s attention to it.

“Mother said that humans aren’t allowed here, so I decided not to bring her here anymore,” Adolphus stated.

“At today’s ball, many potential young ladies will come. Choose one among them and we will proceed to your marriage,” Lucia told him.

“I don’t think that I will get interested in anyone, Mother,” Adolphus said. Radulf chuckled upon hearing him and asked him not to be ignorant anymore.

“I think the Crown Prince needs to give up on his position if he doesn’t marry soon,” Radulf said and looked at Xavier. “The King knows what the people in the Kingdom talk about the Crown Prince. A Luna is a must for the Alpha to lead every pack in the Kingdom,” he added.

“Even without Luna, I have always protected everyone,” Adolphus argued. “Father, Mother, I do hope that at today’s ball I will find someone.”

“Did you try to talk with Juvia once?” Lucia questioned her son.

“I have talked to her many times. However, my wolf never gets excited about seeing her,” Adolphus stated, and glanced at Radulf. “Why don’t you marry her?” He asked while arching his brow.

“I have someone destined for me, Adolphus. Maybe Sebastian or Edon can marry her,” Radulf dodged Adolphus’ question easily. Adolphus was well aware of Radulf’s behavior. He had no one. He would just sleep with everyone and have fun. What a kind of man he was!

King Xavier finally said, “It’s not necessary for Adolphus to marry so early if he is unable to find a suitable woman for him.” “Among werewolves, choosing the right partner is important. Since Adolphus is the future Alpha, then Luna must be chosen wisely,” he proclaimed.

Adolphus was surprised to hear his father’s decision. He didn’t know that Xavier would support him and tell him not to marry early just for the sake of others.

“Father, thank you for understanding me. I am searching for the cure to my curse. However, before that, I need to find out about the cause of mysterious deaths in the Kingdom,” Adolphus informed them.

“If Brother Adolphus wants, then I can help him,” Edon, the youngest prince among them, said.

“Are the witches alive again?” Xavier’s second brother, Damien, asked.

“For now, the traces we found only show that sorcery has been done. It means dark magic is being used. Radulf, why don’t you join me and Edon tomorrow? Maybe your sharp brain will be useful for us in tomorrow’s search,” Adolphus opined. Radulf agreed to accompany him.

“The Crown Prince shall remain careful of the witches. Last time, his life was in danger,” Lucia worriedly said.

“As the future Alpha, it’s my duty to end the worries of my people. The last time mistake will not be repeated any more, Mother. I was young and naive at that time. However, if I had run away without taking hold of the moon crystal, then the witch could have used it against us,” Adolphus affirmed, and he recalled the night when he got the curse.

“We all trust Adolphus’ decision,” Xavier stated, and told him to take both of his brothers with him. Sebastian, seeing his brothers going with Adolphus, couldn’t stop himself and asked him to let him accompany him as well.

“Sure,” Adolphus replied, furrowing his brows.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

The senior omega female servant came to Iris to apologize to her and also thank her for saving so many servants. Iris was happy that Adolphus didn’t kill them and acknowledged her request.

She folded the shirts, which she had washed earlier and then ironed using the glass smoother. It took her an hour to iron all the white shirts. Placing them in a bamboo basket, she went to the dressing room of the Crown Prince to put on those clothes.

She opened the cupboard and placed the ironed shirts inside. She closed the cupboard and turned to leave when her eyes fell on Adolphus, who had just arrived.

She put her head down and bowed. She stepped forward to leave when Adolphus asked her to undress him.

Iris glanced at him with a shocked expression.

“You agreed to do my every work,” Adolphus reminded her. She walked up to him and went behind him. She lifted her body on her toes and reached her hands to the hooks of the large royal blue cloak that he always wore.

“Isn’t His Royal Highness supposed to wear this dress for the evening?” Iris enquired about him.

“I will wear something else,” Adolphus answered her. “Did you eat well?” He asked and tilted his head to gaze at her.

“I did, Master Adolphus,” Iris replied, and folded the cloak. She put it on the table and now she was in front of him. After that, she unbuttoned the surcoat and gently removed it from his body.

She gulped to see the shirt that fit him perfectly. She could see his muscular body even though the shirt wasn’t removed. Slowly, she unbuttoned the shirt and her fingers brushed against his hot skin.

“Iris,” Adolphus groaned. However, she didn’t dare look into his eyes.

His hand caught her wrist midway, and she finally peered at him. She felt how warm his hand was, as if he would burn her with his body heat.

Adolphus thought about sending Iris away as he was again losing his senses.

“You should leave,” he told her. Iris was delighted to hear this and lowered her hands. She bowed and quickly left the dressing room.

“It’s all because I stood too close to her. My body is going against my will and I cannot let it happen,” he mumbled and yanked the shirt off his arms. He didn’t remove the trousers and went to his main chamber to take a rest for a while.
