The Invincible Arthur Gardner

Chapter 19 - A Forbidden Bargain

Chapter 19 - A Forbidden Bargain

"Mr. Glitzy, would you be so kind as to outbid me?" Harry turned to Arthur and, with a tremulous voice,

asked, His tone was tinged with hope.

Harry was overwhelmed by fear, his body trembling, and his face became pale as he tried to hide his

anxiety. Although he was wealthy, he had no intention of squandering money on this particular

situation.

"Can you believe it? Harry actually begged Mr. Glitzy for something."

"It's so embarrassing - turns out his big talk was all just a show."

Aston smiled with contentment, rising from his chair. He clapped his hands gently, the sound

reverberating around the room and immediately garnering the attention of everyone present.

He knew that he was the only one who deserved to be the winner, and sure enough, one of his

opponents had already surrendered before he even had to make a move. As usual, he had easily

gotten what he wanted. This time was no exception.

"What a loser you are, Harry!" he declared. He then approached Harry and Arthur. "You two are just

two naive fools playing with money. You should know who the real wealthy people are in this place."

"I don't really care anymore!" shouted Harry, his voice rising with panic.

He then dropped to his knees in front of Arthur. "Mr. Glitzy, please outbid me, so I can get out of this

auction and never bother you again. I have been successful in becoming a big CEO at a young age,

but I don't have the money to be spending like this. Please, have mercy on me, Mr. Glitzy."

"Alright, Mr. Harry..." Leo spoke from the stage again, trying to appear calm despite the excitement

bubbling up in his heart. "We don't have much time. I will conclude this auction and you will soon be the

winner. Please pay the money you have bid immediately."

Leo attempted to remain composed, but in reality, his heart was bursting with joy. "Wow! I'm going to be

the wealthiest person in town," he thought, and he felt his life was about to become much brighter.

He had a hunch that Claudina would be thankful for the huge opportunity he had created for her, and

perhaps afterward, she would fall in love with him.

Leo couldn't help but let his imagination run wild - even if Claudina's virginity was taken by someone

else, he would still be satisfied as long as he could win her heart. Leo knew that if he could win her

heart, he would be able to live in luxury. If he ran out of money later, he could always resell her and

have her accompany a man to bed for the night, thus restoring his reputation in town.

"Come on, Harry," Aston said with a sneer, clapping his hands lightly beside him. "You don't want your

name to be ruined overnight, do you? Is the young CEO really this cowardly?"

Harry, with his forehead firmly pressed against the floor, remained silent. He still had the option of

making a comeback, but if he continued to be reckless with his money, it would be difficult for him to do

so. Thus, he knew that surrendering was not an act of cowardice.

As for Arthur, he was determined to win all of the items that were being auctioned that night for him.

Moreover, it seemed that even just going out to dinner could be dangerous for Claudina if she were to

do it with Harry; he was very sly and seemed like he would do anything for her.

Arthur took a deep breath, then leaned in closer so that Harry could hear him clearly. "I'm warning you,"

he said in a flat and emotionless voice, emphasizing his words.

"Leave this place immediately and never show your face to Claudina again, or I won't hesitate to bring

you down." His words were a stark warning that left an impression on Harry's soul.

Harry lifted his face, filled with terror, and looked at the figure of Arthur, whose face was hidden under a

mask. "Who is this guy? He looks so powerful and intimidating. I think I've picked the wrong opponent

this time. He is truly Invincible. I'm sure he will destroy Aston tonight. I'd better get going before I get

caught up in the destruction. I need to save myself and prepare for future battles. I will come back and

defeat him when I'm sure of the strategy I will use," he thought to himself.

Without saying another word, Harry quickly exited the room to the looks of disdain from everyone

present.

"Six billion dollars!" Arthur exclaimed, thrusting his hand into the air in an effort to outbid Harry's final

offer.

"Unbelievable! He must be invincible, with seemingly limitless wealth. He makes it look so simple to get

money," one of the onlookers remarked.

"I'm incredibly curious to know who he is; is he the wealthiest man in the city?"

"Alright!" Leo shouted boisterously on the stage. "The dinner with Ms. Claudina has gone to Mr. Glitzy.

It's been an extravagant and unforgettable evening, and Mr. Glitzy has certainly flaunted his wealth.”

“Now, what happened at the last item auction tonight?” Leo continued. “It was the chance to sleep with

Ms. Claudina for the first time in her life. Her virginity is something that many men dream of, and this is

a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - a blessing from the heavens that I'm sure anyone would be willing to

part with anything they own to get."

Everyone in the room was instantly filled with excitement, and even though most of them didn't have

the opportunity to make a bid, the thought of it alone was enough to spark their enthusiasm. Claudina,

whose beauty was so perfect, like an angel descended from heaven, was about to have her virginity

taken for the first time. They even hoped that it could be recorded and resold to anyone, which would

potentially make them a lot of money.

Claudina was feeling increasingly anxious as the final round of the auction was drawing to a close. In a This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

few minutes, the decision of who would take her virginity would be made. She prayed for a miracle,

someone who might save her and stop this from happening, or someone who truly cared for her.

Claudina raised her pale face, and her eyes filled with tears.

"Without further ado!" Leo exclaimed enthusiastically to the palpable tension of the assembled guests.

"It's time for the final round of the auction! Who will be the lucky one to spend the night with the lovely

Ms. Claudina? Let the bidding commence!"

"Twenty billion dollars!" Someone shouted and quickly put forward his offer.
