The Last Ceo’s Deal

Chapter 25: The alarm

CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE.

Fanuel.

I made my way through the press and entered the Silver Rolls Royce parked in front of Oak Bay mining industries as Cole drove in speed past them.

They would ask unending questions if I had continued standing there, those reporters who always behaved like detectives!

“You look flushed, Is it because of the last question that the lady reporter asked?” Edward asked, staring at me.

“Why would she even have a hint of that, I almost screamed at her to ask ‘HOW THE HECK DID YOU EVEN KNOW THAT!!’

“Then you would have blew everything up with your stupid anger”

“Gosh, what a bunch of scallywags!” I loosened my time and rested on the head rest of the car enjoying the cool air conditioner.

“You should be prepared bro, cause more are coming.”

“What do you mean?”

“The questions of course, Your so-called fiance doesn’t even have a media status. You know nothing about her social life, on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

They would start asking about her financial position and who her dad is.”

“I never thought of that Edward.” I sigh in thoughts.

“What were you even thinking of agreeing to marry a low class? Your name will be flying everywhere in magazines,’Fanuel Hudson is getting married to a Maid or Fanuel Hudson stooped so low to marry a Pauper or Fanuel Hudson marries a low hidden identity or Fa…….

“Enough!!!”

“I’m just telling the truth.”

“You’re mocking me.”

“I’m not, I’m happy for you. I mean who would have thought that the almighty Fanuel would get married to a girl from a low class, Like what that actual fuck?!!”

“Her dad was the ex manegaer of Hudson chemical technologies, so fuck off…she’s wealthy ”

“I’m very sure the press would love that juicy story. Fanuel Hudson getting married to the daughter of a thief.”

“What’s your problem dude?”

“You’re just pissed at the truth, you had better accept that now and look for a way to tackle this before Christine flops in front of the press, You don’t know a thing about her and how she behaves in public but you know how to give her punishment like an incarnate of hell.”

Edward was right! Christine might flop, if she is going to be my wife she needs to get used to the press.

But she’s as shaky and fearful as a cockroach.

She’s brave too and it’s all confusing, she needs to act like all of this is real and always smile at the press.

Shit!! We are getting married in a few days and all I’m concerned about is my hatred for her. I have never coached her on how to avoid questions and to pose herself as a CEO’s wife.

Damn!!

“She annoyed me, and I gave her what she wanted.”

“By making her go to the basement? When was the last time you stepped your foot in there ever since the corrosives and chemical paints were filtered in there.

You even said that you need experts in cleaning up the whole place and reconstructing it to its good shape, do you think those experts would go there without getting the medical equipment used in protecting themselves?”

My eyes snapped open, inhaling those chemicals can be very dangerous to the body system and might trigger the heart and kidney.

Oh my God! For the first time in my life I feel scared, my throat became

dry and my palms become sweaty.

“Cole speed up please, we need to get Christine out of there.”

“Oh really! Dude you’re so unbelievable.”

“Can you stop making me feel so horrible? She pushed me to do it and I did that without thinking!”

“Your hatred for her amazes me, you still want to get married to her! Just know that if you kill her or she gets any health complications because of this, you might go to jail.”

“Godforbid, why can’t you just be optimistic for once! And wait…. who told who she was going to work in the basement?”

“I saw her while coming to meet you this morning, she looked distressed, tired and worried. I forcefully asked her and she told me,“I even opted to go in there with her but she fled.”

“Are you crazy!!! Opted to go in there with her? Are you high or something? Why would you even think of doing such a thing?”

“Why won’t I do that, so you care about what happens to me and not Christine, the girl you claim you want to marry…wow!”

“I don’t give a shit about all this right now, what I’m concerned about is about her getting affected by those corrosives, I totally forgot that it was filtered there”

I said and he raised his brows at me.

“If you hate her that much, why do you still want to marry her, I mean you can always sign a contract with your ex, she’s still head over heels in love with you.”

“Mirabel is as clingy and possessive as fuck!!”

“But Christine isn’t right, you want to take control of her and lead her to her early grave right?”

“Cole when you reach the house, let me know. I need to shut my eyes from this panel of judges.”

“We’re home already, boss.”

He says and I sit up, Edward kept staring at me and checking his wrist watch, he was giving me this *God won’t forgive you look* and I threw my face to the other side and waited for the car to come to a halt. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

It’s the way they keep defending her that pisses me off, I mean no one is on my side, she’s always getting this attention.

First it’s my brother, now it’s my friend. I don’t know but I don’t like it at all when they say nice things about her or try to defend her actions and my treatment towards her, it riles me up.

Anyway, I’m getting married to her soon and she will soon be mine.

I stepped down from the car and walked briskly to the mansion.

It was in a frenzy, an alarm blazed the whole building loudly and maids were running helter skelter.

I saw a Young guy sitting, confused about what’s happening around and stood up the moment he sighted me.

Jayden came over panicking and gasped on seeing him.

“What’s happening Jayden?”

“I left the room the moment I heard the sound, they said it’s from the basement.”
