Chapter 27
The second key was a lot easier to find than the first key. There weren't really that many places to hide it in the small empty basement. Even by the light of my phone it was easy to see the spot where the bricks in the wall looked different from the rest of the room.
The next part would be the hard part though. Whatever my parents had hidden for me was in one of the buildings in town but I had no idea which. If I had thought this far ahead I would have told Elijah to call at my old house so I could pick up the map but this whole thing was the embodiment of poor planning. I hadn't thought any of this through before we set off so I had to rely on my not so perfect memory.
From what I could remember the map pointed to one of the larger buildings at the centre of the village. So that seemed a good place to start, I set off towards the centre of the village with Elijah following closely behind. I didn't want to resort to looking around each of the buildings in turn but I would if I had to.
"Do you know where we need to use these keys?" Elijah asked as fell into step beside me.
"I'm not sure." I replied.
I was starting to feel anxious and self conscious. I didn't really have a plan. I was so used to planning everything out before I acted. Even when my actions looked spontaneous it was all an act, I had already calculated all the possible outcomes. I knew the risks and I compensated for them.
It is a side effect of what happened to my parents that night. I wanted to look strong and independent but in reality I was scared that I would end up in a situation I couldn't get out of. This felt like just that kind of situation.
I had no clue which building I was looking for but I knew I had no choice other than to stay here until I found it. Whoever had sent the creepy werewolves knew we were here now and they seemed to know that I was different from most werewolves. If they knew my history as well then they might even be able to work out why I am here.
If that was the case I didn't know what they would do if I left without finding what I was looking for. Maybe they would find it and take it for themselves or maybe they would just lay a trap and wait for us to come back. We couldn't take that chance, we had to find it now.
"I am sure we will find it, you seem to know where you are going." Elijah said, clearly picking up on my anxiety through our bond.
"I know where to start." I said.
I continued walking till I reached the centre of the village. I turned around on the spot, looking in each direction. Most of the buildings in this part of town were shops, bars and coffee shops. They were small buildings, not like the building that was indicated on the map.
The only building that was big enough was the library. I remember that my mom used to bring me here all the time when I was young. She would let me pick out some books and take me into a room at the back where there were lots of old books. We would sit there for hours reading our books.
"Maybe it's in there." I said, pointing at the library.
"Lead the way." He replied, smiling at me.
"You just want to watch my ass." I replied.
"Did you read that from my mind?" Elijah asked.
"No, I didn't need to. I can see it in your eyes." I said.
I leaned into him and placed a soft kiss on his lips. I lingered for a moment before pulling away and walking towards the library. Making sure to put a bit more sway in my step for his benefit.
I walked into the library the same way that I always used to when I was younger. As soon as I walked through the door I took a left towards the children's section. From there I walked through the library towards the back of the room and into the staff only areas at the back of the building.
There were a few doors in the corridor, I opened each one in turn until I found the room that my mom used to take me to. It looked like any of the other rooms except for the large wooden door at the side of the room.
It looked out of place compared to the rest of the room. The whole building was modern but this door looked ancient. It had intricate carvings all over it, as though it wasn't even trying to hide its magical origins. There were only two locks on the door but I distinctly remember the letter said that my blood was also needed to unlock the door.
I don't know what I had expected it to look like, maybe I was hoping for a sign that said: your blood goes here. The one thing I hadn't counted on though was yet another puzzle to solve.
"What's wrong honey?" Elijah said.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck. I could feel his erection pressing into my backside as he reached up under my t-shirt and fondled my breasts. I hadn't had time to take off my bra before I shifted so it had been ripped apart and Elijah was taking full advantage of this.
He has hardly been able to take his eyes off me since the fight. I think that knowing I didn't have any underwear on was a big turn on for him. I leaned backwards against him, reaching behind myself to touch his body. "The note said that I would need to use my blood to open it but I don't know what that means." I said.
I don't know why I was telling him this, I stopped caring a few minutes ago. Right now I just wanted him to bend me over the desk in the corner of the room and take me. I let out a moan as he removed one of his hands from my breast, slowly moving down my body till he reached the waistband of my jeans.

"You might be right." I said.
He lowered my jeans slightly so he could get his hand in between my legs. His fingers slowly stroked my clit causing me to roll my hips forward and moan. "Do I get a reward for working it out?" He asked.
"Anything you want." I said, already breathless from his touch.
"Good, now take off your clothes." He said, nibbling my ear.
He sat down on the chair next to the desk and watched me as I started to undress in front of him.All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
"You have been teasing me all day and I can't take it anymore. I need you." He said, not taking his eyes away from me for a second.
"Not as badly as I need you." I replied as I sat down on top of him, taking him inside me.
