Chapter 8 Her sister’s boyfriend
“Thank you so much Olivia” Elsa smiled as she collected the ice cream from her.
They were now walking to the restaurant.
“Are you sure we should go there?” Elsa asked. “Shouldn’t we just go home or somewhere else?”
“C’mon Elsa, it’s been long I go out like this and I need to have a good food and drink, I heard the Russians restaurant is the best in town recently” Olivia said.
“I don’t have any money with me” Elsa said plainly.
“You’re kidding me huh?! I didn’t remember asking you to pay” Olivia said and Elsa smiled.
They both walked into the restaurant but have to stop when they noticed a fight inside the restaurant, A man was beating one of the waiter and the people in the restaurant and other waiters didn’t seem to be doing anything about it.
“What’s happening?” Elsa whispered.
“I don’t know, Maybe we should leave this place” Olivia replied.
“Hmm” Elsa hummed.
The ice cream in her hand fell off her hand as she stared at the man punching the already bleeding man.
“Don’t f*king play with me!!” He yelled and continue to punch him.
“Elsa, Elsa!! C’mon are you okay? I have been talking to you.” Olivia said but Elsa still wasn’t listening.
The man punching the waitress finally stopped and garb a glass from the counter, the glass seems to be containing some wine.
He glump it down. “Find my stuff and get it back to me” He said and turned to walk out when his eyes meet with that of Elsa.
“F*ck!” He cursed under his breath.
“Barbie doll” He called walking to her. Elsa’s leg seemed pinned to the ground. As much as she wants to back out , she couldn’t move.
“What are you doing here?’ he asked and made to grab her hands but she slapped it off.
“Let’s go Olivia” Elsa said and walked out.
“Barbie doll!” He yelled after her once more but she didn’t look back.
“Hi, and bye. I’ll rush see what’s wrong with her” Olivia said to the man before running after Elsa.
__
“What wrong? You’ve been grumpy and like this since after meeting that man, what’s wrong? Anything I need to know?” They were on a cab now , driving home..
“The man back there, is the one I told you about” Elsa said staring at Olivia.
“What!” Olivia exclaimed.
“He’s a bad guy, just when I thought I’ve found someone I can trust, he’s a bad guy!” Elsa said and tried not to cry.
“Uhm.. not everyone is bad, the Waiter must have done something to him, who knows? Don’t be too straight forward” .
“You were there, what do you expect from a guy who will punch another till he starts bleeding and no one dares stop him” Elsa asked.Property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Will you hear him out?” Olivia asked.
Huh? What.” Elsa said.
“Will you wait up and here what he have to say, if he approaches you?” Olivia asked.
“No, I don’t want to see him. He’s a bad guy and that’s it, he’s going to hurt me and destroy the remaining part of me that Freddie left” Elsa said.
“Geez Elsa, you’re being real her as well being funny” Olivia said.
“Ma’am we’re here” The cab driver said.
“Thanks”
Elsa got down from the cab and waved at Olivia.
“I’ll see you in school tomorrow, Hear him out if he drops by, okay?” Olivia said.
“Okay” Elsa said and watch the cab drive off.
Argh! What is she thinking? Why is she so worked up about it?! He’s not even her boyfriend nor her friend.
Why is she so worked up and somehow hurt?” She shaked her head and hit her head.
“Relax Elsa” She muttered before walking into the house.
__
Elsa walked into the house and everywhere was calm, she switched on the sitting room light and everywhere was just so messy.
Bottles of beer scattered on the floor, pumpkins and other snacks were on the floor. Elsa sighed tiredly as she drops her bag on the floor and sat down on the nearby chair.
She’s so tired but she can’t leave the sitting room like this, She already knew marina won’t be home. She’s always like that whenever their parents is not around.
Elsa stood up and carried her bag to her room, change her clothes and foot wear and walked back to the sitting room. She took the broom and swept the whole sitting room then put the trashes in the trash bin. She was exhausted by the time she was done cleaning. It’s half past 10 at night and she’s ready to go to bed.
She walked back to her room and took her bath , then wore her pajamas and laid on the bed. She’s not feeling sleepy but she’s just weak.
Her mind drifted to her Mr. Stranger and the image of him punching the Waiter replayed in her mind.
Olivia might be right, The Waiter must have done something to him. He look so calm and doesn’t look like someone who will pick on another.
She wondered why she had left the restaurant and why she had ignored him. They are not even friends and she’s feeling like he just hurt her? Well, she won’t deny that seeing him once more made her heart raced but unfortunately she didn’t meet him at the right time.
Elsa drifted her mind, next to her school. She will be graduating in the next two days and she feels sad her father is not going to be around. That means she will have no supporter .
Olivia is her only friend and the only one who supports her, But Marina have lot of friends because she’s a extrovert.
Elsa sighed and rubbed her eyes, She should do her homework and go to bed as she have classes tomorrow. She drag out her laptop from the drawer and got her notepad. She crossed her leg and turned on the laptop.
__
“Beep….!” Elsa hit her hand on the laptop immediately shutting it off. It’s 6:30 in the morning.
Elsa yawned and walked out of the bed. She walked to the bathroom and brushes her teeth before walking out of her room to make breakfast. As she shut her door, Elsa heard a voice from Marina’s room.
“Did she came back yesterday night?” Elsa muttered but didn’t bother checking.
She walked to the kitchen and brought out what she will be needing to make pasta and orange juice.
She was almost getting done with the pasta when a man walked into the sitting room. He was shirtless and only on shorts, He has a black hair and he isn’t that handsome.
Elsa glance and took her gaze off him immediately. She knew Marina must have brought him over.
That’s Carl, Marina’s school boyfriend and Elsa doesn’t like him a bit. He use to flirt with her and she had always avioded him at school. How could Marina have the guts to bring him over? Because their parents wasn’t home?.
“Hello cutie, what are you making?” Carl said to her and walked to the fridge. He brought out the left over beer from the fridge and served himself.
“Good morning, Carl” Elsa said.
She turned backing him as she starts transferring the pasta from the pot to her plate. She brought out some apple and put it inside the blender.
She had changed her mind to have apple juice instead of Orange juice. She felt nervous knowing Carl’s eyes were on her , She will be done soon.
“You look more beautiful and full now. Who have been touching that sweet pointy breasts of yours” Carl said.
Those words sends cold shivers down her skins. She just realized she’s still on her pajamas and it’s exposing her breast. She swallowed.
“I dont know what you’re talking about” Elsa said. She turned off the blender.
“C’mon, don’t act like a kid. You actually look cute in that pajamas. Maybe I can teach you what I mean when I say your breast are full and frim” Carl said .
Elsa’s heart entered her mouth immediately she heard Carl said that, she turned to face him. Carl smirked and dropped his cup then walk to Elsa. Close enough to her.
He touched her cheeks and smiled. “Let go Carl” Elsa said and walked out from him.
She went to the other side of the counter and Carl laughs.
“C’mon Elsa! I know you want me. You love me and I know that”. Carl said.
Carl was right. Elsa had once have a crush on Carl but she’s too naive for his liking. Carl went for her sister instead and Elsa had been hurt. She had gotten over him though.
“How’s Freddie?” Carl asked as he took his glass of wine.
“I don’t know” Elsa said.
Why does everyone keep talking about him? Can’t they just see how the name alone destroys her?
Carl walk to her and pecked her cheeks, Elsa swallowed.
“You’re cute” He smirked and starts walking back to Marina’s room, who’s probably still sleeping .
Elsa sighed as she watched him disappear. She carried her almost cold pasta and her juice and walked to her room.
She should eat and hurry to school already , and she prays she doesn’t meet Carl here when she’s back.
