The Odd Billionaire

CHAPTER 23

Traizle

“Do you guys have an appointment?” Tyler asked, eating his junk food early in the morning.

“None, why?” I asked back.

Why would he ask about that? Right?

Tyler pointed his finger on the outside. Following the direction of his finger, I can see Mr. Andrade outside.

Mr. Andrade? What is he doing here?

“Shit!” I exclaimed. “I need to go, stop him for a second for me.” I told Tyler before running upstairs.

I headed to Zarsuelo’s office.

Entering his office, he is busy munching chocolates again, plastic wrapper on his table and he himself is not ready.

“Zarsuelo, Mr. Andrade is here.” I told him.

“And why is he here?” Zarsuelo stopped eating his sweets and looked confused at me.

“Stand up,” I command. Thankfully, he is cooperating without any hesitations. “May I see your teeth?” I told him.

He quickly smiled widely. “Ahh.” Zarsuelo said after opening his mouth.

I checked his face, removing the chocolate crumbs near his lips and cheeks. After making sure that nothing is wrong with his face, I checked his outfit next.

“Tuck your shirt inside.” I commanded.

While tucking his shirt, I collected the plastic wrappers on his table and threw them in the garbage beside his table. Making sure there is nothing left aside from his things on his table and looking around if there is something I have to clean.

Seeing it clean and fine, I look back at Zarsuelo, who is now done tucking his shirt inside.

“Sit properly.” I told him.

Zarsuelo sat properly on his swivel chair. “Am I good now?” Zarsuelo asked back.

“Yes, you are. Don’t cause any trouble with Mr. Andrade anymore, are we clear?” I answered, making sure that he wouldn’t cause any trouble.

“Don’t worry, I won’t.” Zarsuelo answered.

We heard a knock outside.

“Sir. Zarsuelo and Ma’am. Cerezo, you have a visitor and he has not asked for an appointment.” I heard Tyler said from the outside.

“Let him in.” I answered on behalf of Zarsuelo.

When Tyler opened the door, Mr. Andrade also came in. I approached Mr. Andrade and bowed a little.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Andrade.” I said.

“Good afternoon, Ms. Cerezo and Mr. Zarsuelo.” Mr. Andrade greeted back. “Sorry, I was not able to make an appointment.” he added.

“No worries. I am glad you visited me, Mr. Andrade.” Zarsuelo replied.

I smiled at Tyler, who helped me do what I had to. We can’t help but fist bump each other behind Mr. Andrade.

We excuse ourselves before going out.

“That was so intense,” I muttered. “I thought he would see Zarsuelo as his normal self.” I added.

“Our teaming up is much better than I expected. That was so cool too.” Tyler commented.

I waited for Mr. Andrade to come out of Zarsuelo’s office and leave, so that I could kill that oddball.

“Trai-”

“Mr. Andrade almost saw you in that state!” I growled, scolding him. “What would happen to you if he saw you? He might get disappointed, saying you are not competitive enough to be so lax.” I added.

“But we still manage it, right?” He asked back.

“We still manage? Are you kidding me?” I snorted. “If we did not see him a while ago in the cafeteria, we would be dead already!” I growled.

“I am sorry,” Zarsuelo said, asking for forgiveness. “I am carefree because I did not expect him to come here without the appointment schedule.” he added, explaining his side.

I sighed. “I am sorry for scolding you,” I told him, asking for his forgiveness too. “I am just worried that if they see you in that state, it will leave a record and it is not good. They will think of you as an incompetent owner of your business.” I explained my side as well.

It is a good thing that we are in the cafeteria and Tyler saw him before entering the entrance. We will be doomed if we are not able to handle that.

“Everything you did, starting from entering my office until now, made my heart flattered. It felt like I was being looked after by someone I cared about. It was a great feeling.” As he spoke, Zarsuelo admitted as much.

He is slowly approaching me, opening his arms wide and smiling at me widely. Before he can hug me totally, I point my index finger on his forehead.

“Back off, Zarsuelo.” I told him. Keeping my distance with him.

“Let me hug you! I will kiss you if you won’t let me!” He complained, still forcing himself to hug me.

To strengthen my defense, I added another two fingers to his forehead.

“Please! I will be good! I won’t eat sweets today.” he said, exclaiming.

“I don’t care!” I answered.

He put down his hands to quit his personal intention, pouting his lips like a duck. I stopped pushing his forehead with my fingers and turned my back to sit on the chair and relax for a while.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

But, I was wrong. The moment I turned my back on him, he grabbed the chance to hug me.

“So fluffy, wife,” he said, tightening his hug. “Back hugs are pretty awesome too. I love this.” he added.

“Quickly remove your hands, Zarsuelo!” I growled.

He immediately removed his hands. Turning my head to glare at him.

“Be thankful you are not facing me. I will definitely kiss you if you are.” said Zarsuelo, who is now smiling proudly.

When I started to chase him, I really wanted to whack his head to see if his brain was still working properly. IT DOESN’T APPEAR TO DO SO ANYMORE!

“Come back here, you oddball idiot!” I growled, chasing him inside his office.

Why does it feel like his office is so wide that I can’t knock that oddball?

“You can’t chase me, Traizle. I am athletic. I am always first on our physical education tests and exams.” Zarsuelo said, vaunting his accomplishments.

I should not have stooped to his level. I probably won’t definitely win with that oddball.

Giving up on chasing him, I turned myself and headed to the door to go out.

Opening the door…

IS A BAD IDEA!
