Don’t wait up
Two years and six months later!
Everything seemed to have operated just perfectly. I keep the truth about my virginity taken by a complete stranger, a secret. Everything was kept confidential! But over time I realized that Nearce is never going to love me, Jhonia thoughts’.
Knock! Knock! With the door knocked on the door… Jhonia ended her thoughts and turned around when the door opened and Crissian entered with a smile on her face.
“There is nothing to be happy about, Crissian.” Jhonia said, walking away from the window and around to the couch. Crissian quickly closed the door and walked over, sitting down with her.
“I know, last night was really humiliating for you but I have been here for so long. He wasn’t like this, and yet I have just realized that I want to leave. Now, especially when I am pregnant!” Crissian said, holding her palm over her stomach. Jhonia looked at her and smiled! The door latch made sounds of opening and Crissian stood up immediately. The door opened and Nearce entered.
“Go back first!” Jhonia said to Crissian, she looked at Jhonia and nodded before making her way to the door. Suddenly she stopped turning back to Jhonia.
“Will you have lunch with Mrs. Pinnock, or should I send it to you?” Crissian asked looking at Jhonia waiting for any form of response but she had already sneaked food to her already, Jhonia looked up at her and realized that it’s for the act she, Jhonia started about not eating.
“No, I won’t send me a bottle of wine and a glass. I will have that instead! Also, don’t have them prepare any dinner for me, I won’t eat.” Jhonia said to her, signaling her to go. Crissian turned around and left. Nearce walking to the room frowning. He went to the bathroom. While he was taking a shower his phone received a message. Jhonia fought with herself to not go and check. Crissian returned with the wine she requested! And at that moment she decided it was then or never. She got up and rushed into the bedroom section of the room, she picked his phone and checked the message.
“See you at 9 pm tonight.”
With kisses emoji, the individual name was Kaylia. Jhonia sigh and place his phone back down and leave the room. Nearce returns from the bathroom and sees Jhonia softly speaking with the maid.
“Tell Mrs. Pinnock, I no longer like my driver… But i don’t want him to be fired either, if by chance she says so before you, agreeing to change him with her driver. Then, tell her that it was my idea but I wasn’t sure she wanted to change Orean for my driver. Orean and I have something to take care of and you need to cover for me. Okay?” Jhonia said, explaining to Crissian, she smiled and Jhonia wondered why but she quickly picked up that it must have something to do with Nearce. … Who is standing feet away from them.
“Also, I informed her I will be going out with the girls tonight.” Jhonia said loudly, Crissian nodded and left the room. Jhonia turned around and Nearce stood inches away from her.
“Where are you going?” Nearce asked her, but Jhonia ignored him. She began walking away from him when he grabbed her, and pulled her back to him. Jhonia’s memory suddenly brings her back to the night she had with the stranger who had pulled her back to him, two years and six months ago today.
“It’s too late to turn back now.” His words playback into her ears like it was seconds ago, her heartbeat began beating faster than normal. Nearce stared at her as she stood calmly in his arms without fighting back. She didn’t realize that her body was reacting calmly to nearce because of the sudden flashback of that night.Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“I shouldn’t have drunk so much last night. Jhonia i” Nearce was cut off with surprise and the sudden movement of Jhonia. The sudden calmness changed and her sweet gesture turned cold and Jhonia clearly didn’t want him touching her. It was at that moment she realized that she was with Nearce, and not the virginity breaker.
“Of course, it’s either you drank too much or you were too upset. But you’re always sorry. Nearce, for the past two years and six months. I stood by you in silence and not only watched you humiliate me constantly but always reminded me of my poor-ness and loss of parents. At first, it was only inside this house but you took it outside if you would be honest with yourself! Your love for me is just a disguise for the hate. In this your heart which you hold for me, is nothing but hate, but i can’t help but wonder what I have. What have I ever done? Don’t touch me! Don’t you dare touch me! You only care about how hurt your mother will be when she finds out. But what about me, Nearce? What about me?”
Jhonia said after he tried to calm her down, she then explained how he drank too much or too upset but he was always apologizing to her, but never changing. Yet she stayed even so he never forgot to remind her that she’s poor and has no parents. But with all that his love is not love but hate for her, that is inside his heart. It was never because he meant it as he apologies but all his apology is because he doesn’t want his mother to know. She screamed at him asking? While beating her fist onto his cheat, faking her tears. He hugs her in silence. Jhonia pulled away from him and went to the bathroom. After some time she showed and returned, Nearce was seated on his phone, when Jhonia returned from the bathroom, however, she didn’t want him to cancel his date with Kaylia.
“I’m going to drink with the girls, afterward I’m going to stay with my friend Josephine, so don’t wait up.” Jhonia said to him, as she walked past him from the room and into the closet. Jhonia sighs breaths of relief then smiles. She takes her phone and text the girls to meet up at 9:00 PM.
Thereon she began going through her clothes, looking for something to wear. She got dressed in a skirt suit, thin long sleeve white shirt, a black leather skirt with a split at the end, brown coat, and a pair of black heels. A set of simple jewelry. She went out after getting dressed, Nearce was seated on the couch going through files.
“I thought you were going back to the office?” Jhonia asks, walking over to the couch and sits down, looking over at him.
“I was but I was waving. About yesterday Jhonia”
“I should get going. Don’t wait up!” Jhonia said to him, and reminded him not to wait for her after cutting him off as she was getting up! She walked into the room and then left. Nearce, watching as she leaves he kept staring at the door even after Jhonia had long gone, feeling sorry.
But after she leaves he waits some time before he goes for his work bag. There he removed some documents and was dealing with them. He was reading through them, making preparations and setting them in order.
