The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

He didn’t know whether he would even get a chance to meet her or not, but he had to try.

He mentally laughed at himself, thinking how selfish he was; he didn’t try to contact her all this time, but now when he needed her help, he was going to meet her.

After traveling for more than twelve hours, Calvin pulled out the map that he had and followed the moon. No one knew the exact location of the Black Council because not every time any werewolves visited that place, at least not at the hub of the rouges, and those who wanted to come there then they had to do extra work.

“Damn, the fog is too thick around this place because of the river,” Zordan grumbled when he was about to hit the tree again. They both had left the jeep a way before and started trekking because of the hilly route.

“Be careful with your steps,” Calvin warned. The fog around them was so thick that even his wolf could see things more clearly. “I think we are near. It is said that Black council is near if one could smell the scent of sandalwood.” He added.

Both kept walking ahead for an hour more but couldn’t find anything except for trees, fog, and the mountains.

“I think we are lost.”

“No. I don’t think so. Keep moving. I’m sure that your wolf can also smell their rotten scent.”

“Wow!! Commenting about our smell by coming into our territory.” They heard and looked at the source of the voice but couldn’t find anyone because of the damn fog, but whoever it was, he was on the top of the mountain. Thanks to superhuman hearing power, they heard that voice loud and clear. In the next moment, a man, a werewolf, of course, jumped from the top and landed on the ground in all black, including his face. He had used black color or paint on his face.

“I…”

“Doctor will be happy to see someone from her family here.” That man said, cutting Calvin in between. He didn’t know that that man who recognized him this easily. Both Calvin and Zordan watched him, removing the stone from the mountain and scanning his eyes. In the next moment, the stone in front of the mountain was removed, showing them the way inside it.

‘Holycow! Who could have thought that the black council is inside the mountain.’ Zordan mindlinked Calvin, who was thinking the same. The bags that they brought with them were kept with the strange man in black, and then, they went through a security check just after entering the mountain-like council.

Soon they were accompanied by another male who was surely smelling like shit but looked fresh and had worn just a boxer.

Well, what could anyone expect a werewolf to wear at two at night?

“Does your great father know that his son is here to meet his abandoned daughter?” he asked in a cold tone, more like taunted.

“No. He doesn’t. And please don’t tell him about the same.” Zordan replied instead of Calvin, to which that man didn’t respond anything. After walking for a while, he reached the open area. Calvin saw that area was surrounded by mountains from all sides.

After fifteen to twenty minutes of walking, they reached the biggest house in that area, surrounded by the small house around it. Once the door of that house opened, Calvin’s jaw dropped, seeing the beauty of the house. He didn’t expect to see anything like this.

He couldn’t count the time for how long he kept walking until finally they were asked to sit. Because of night, he could only see the guards, no one else. After a while, a robot approached them carrying water and juice in her hand.

“Oh, wow!! Here is a robot as well.” Zordan said and was ready to drink the juice when Calvin slapped his hand, signaling him to keep his hand away from everything.

“Let him drink it, Calvin. I assure you that nothing is mixed in it.” Finally, Calvin heard the voice for which he was here. Calvin saw his sister carefully using her stair; at first, he couldn’t understand her small baby step until his eyes landed on her small baby bump.

“Lee?” A smile appeared on his face; leaving the couch, he walked toward her and cupped her face, “Moon Goddess! I didn’t know that you were expecting.”

“To know that you had to keep in touch with her, you know.” Calvin raised his head and saw her mate, who looked annoyed with the disturbance in his sleep.

“Shut up and go to sleep.” Liara glared at her mate, who wasn’t in a very happy mood. He didn’t say anything and returned back to his room. “Don’t mind him.” She muttered, looking at Calvin.

“I don’t because he is right.” Calvin smiled meekly and hugged her.

“I’m still not a hugger,” Liara said, and her voice started getting heavy. “But never mind..” Her voice became heavy, and she hugged Calvin back.

“Thanks to Moon Goddess that you’re here. I was going to send a message for you anyway.” Liara said, breaking the hug and coming directly to the point.

“Why? About what?” Calvin looked at her in confusion.

“One of my patients is finally out of the coma.” She said, to which Calvin looked at her in confusion, wondering where this conversation was heading. “And… her scent! Her scent is familiar to Rose. As we both know, that pup of the anyone has the scent of both mother and father until they grow older.”

“I know that. Do.. do you mean to say that you found the woman who gave birth to Rose?” Calvin asked in disbelief as he could that he had finally found HER.

“Yes!!” Liara nodded her head.

“You’re pregnant, and you need complete your sleep. Tell this to your idiot brother.” They heard a pissed male voice, at which Liara rolled her eyes.
