Trapped In The Arms Of The Billionaire

Chapter 4

Ethan POV

Soon we reached the house so we immediately went inside. We caught up with Dad and Tita who were talking in the living room.

“You two are already here.” a smiling Agatha’s mom promised.

I saw Luke going downstairs. “What  took you so long?” he asked us.

“I thought you had a meeting?” I asked him again.

“There is, but it didn’t last long.” he answered me.

I want to punch him if Dad isn’t in front of us, he’ll be home early, why does he have to order me to fetch Agatha?

I never really trusted Luke even to say that he was my older brother, since we were kids he had a habit that I really don’t like about him.

Agatha POV

I felt so scared because of what happened to us earlier and I was even surprised to see that he had a gun in his car. Even though he was rude it never entered my mind that he knew how to use a gun.

I was even more nervous when he told me to drive the car first. I’m not that smart but because of what happened, I need to hold on to myself rather than die. I don’t know who those people are and what his purpose is for us.

I thought Ethan didn’t really care about me because from the very beginning he didn’t treat me well and I knew he was mad at me but because of what happened earlier I could see the concern on his face.

We ate dinner together and then I went straight to the bedroom to rest.

I went straight to the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed. I didn’t last long either because I was already feeling drowsy. I was about to go to bed when someone knocked on my door so I got up to open it.

“W-why are you here?” I asked in astonishment to see it was Ethan who was knocking. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“I just want to talk to you about what happened earlier.” he said seriously and entered the room.

I closed the door and sat on my bed while he sat in the chair near the mini table.

“What do you want to talk about?” I asked him.

“You remember what I said earlier, right?” he said.

“I know what I’m asking is why we still need to talk about that thing.” I asked.

“Don’t tell anyone about what happened earlier Agatha.”

“And why?” I asked him, shouldn’t he tell this to his Dad?

“Just follow what I’m saying and don’t ask too many questions. Do you want your mom to worry when she finds out about what happened earlier?”

Suddenly I was stunned by what he said. He was right. If Mama would know about what happened she would be worried. I don’t want to be a burden to them.

“Okay, I’m not going to talk about what happened.” I surrender.

“It’s good and we’re getting clear.” After he said that he got up and walked towards the door but before he could finally get out I called him to make him stop and look at me.

“What?”

“I just want to say thank you.” I said.

“Don’t mention it. Don’t think I saved you because I didn’t. I just don’t want to die.” he said before finally leaving.

I just sighed, when will I be able to talk to him without complaining. I looked at the time and it was too late so I went to bed and fell asleep. He is really a demon sometimes. I just thank him for what he had done and for saving me but his behavior is like that.

I’ve rolled on my bed many times but I’m still not drowsy, I’m sure I’ll wake up late later. Until now, I still can’t forget what happened earlier, I almost fainted with nervousness and fear. Who wouldn’t be there if you knew someone was chasing you? And you didn’t know who it was and it looked like they were planning to kill you.

Sometimes I think that if we hadn’t moved into the Hernandez family’s house I wouldn’t have experienced this, but I can’t take away my mother’s happiness. I just hope I don’t experience that thing again because I might really die out of fear.

I got up and turned down the aircon because it was too loud and I was getting cold. I also went to the table to drink the water in the glass. I forgot to drink it earlier because I was thinking too much. Then I went back to bed and maybe I could sleep already.
