Triplets for the Billionaire novel (Oliver Gusto)

Chapter 56

"I just want to know. Or is my father the only obsessed one?"

Beatrice shrugged, "I don't hate him."

"I'm not saying you hate him."

"Do you still love him?"

"Jeez, Ollie, I'm married."

Oliver shook his head. "You both are just like me and Katherine."

"No. You both are really something else and what you have is really intense."

"You think so?"

"Yeah. I don't want to sound evil but I think I'm a bit relieved that Katherine is with you."

A small smile crept to Oliver's lips.

"I never had a good feeling about that dude She was dating. But I know you and I trust you and if anything were to go wrong, I know where to find you to murder you."

Oliver couldn't help with the laughter that escaped his lips at her last statement. He suddenly had a sense of pride, as though he had made the right decision all along.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

"So I take it that I have your blessing?"

"Yes, you do. As long as you promise you're gonna treat her and my grandchildren right."

"I give you my word."

"Do you care about giving me a heads up about Sammie, Sophie, and Sebastian?"

"You're still doubting that they are yours?"

"No, I'm not. Though I don't know what they look like because I've refused to open the picture files the investigator sent. I only went through the important details."

Beatrice nodded. "You're not freaked out that they don't have your surname or you're just acting cool about it before me?"

Oliver sighed. "I've got no words to describe how I felt. Honestly, it was like a slap on my face. It took me a few hours to get over it. I'm still going to talk to Katherine about it. Something has to be done. I've spent my life working back-to-back. All I own belongs to them and they definitely have to bear the family name."

"I hope that goes well. So I guess you're still gonna do the DNA test?"

Oliver nodded. "Just to clear all doubts."

"Nothing much to say. Your kids are amazing. I can't wait for you to get to know them. You'll definitely feel blessed that they are yours."

"Sophie is the sweetest little girl I've ever known. She's calm, obedient, and lively but she could be quite persuasive. Let's just say she knows how to trick you into giving her what she wants. So you might want to be careful about that."

"The boys are so protective of her. Sebby is really cool, funny, and very friendly while Sammie is more like you."

Oliver couldn't help with the smile that took over his face. "How is he like me?"

"You'll understand when you bond with him."

"I'm very nervous about that. I was making fun of my Dad when he said he would have to look up the inte about how to be a Grandfather but I got to know that he had a point.".

"I watched a few videos on YouTube this morning but I still don't know how I'm going to behave or what to say when I see them."

Beatrice laughed.

"I must confess, it's good seeing you nervous for once."

"You've always put up this 'know it all' type of look and it feels so good seeing this side of you."

"I hope I don't act stupid."

"You'll be fine. Just be yourself. Be attentive and try to flow with them."

"Things might be awkward at first which is normal but just be yourself and be kind."

"I'll take note of that. Thank you."

"I doubt your babe would be showing up."

"Yeah me too. That means I'll have to go meet them at Michelle's place."

Beatrice rose to her feet. "I wish you luck. You have my contact in case you need anything. I should start packing before Andre comes."

"Say me well to Charles and Thank him for the gifts. I would probably be seeing him soon."

"I will. Congratulations once again and enjoy your honeymoon." They both exchanged a hug.

"Your phone is switched off so there's no way he's going to be able to reach out to you."

"For some reason, my phone has been missing and we both know you are behind that." "So you're calling me a thief? Perfect!"

"Babes!!! Stop being ridiculous. Sophie literally cried before taking a nap. She keeps asking when you will take her to see Daddy. What are you going to tell her when she wakes up?"

Katherine shrugged. "That she no longer has a father?!...He ditched us.....ran away?!"

"Come on, babes, you can't keep playing with their feelings, going back and forth, it doesn't make any sense."

"I was all into it. I was slowly starting to change my mind and accept the whole thing. But he had to interfere with my work. What the hell?!" "Your work? How?!" Michelle asked, looking confused.

"I got an email from the office this morning. They are releasing me of my duty and wishing me all the best in my future career. Like what the hell?" Michelle sighed, already knowing who was behind it.

"I know he went too far but instead of bottling up all the anger in you, why don't you reach out to him and let him explain himself."

Katherine shook her head. "I've honestly had enough! I'm not even his already and he's ruining me by messing with my job. What the heck?!"

"You both are something else!" Michelle whispered, massaging her temple.

Kathie was about to say something when She was interrupted by the sound of the doorbell.

She stared at Michelle.

"I'm not expecting anyone," Michelle mumbled.

"That's probably him."

With how angry her best friend was, Michelle was hoping Katherine would insist that she shouldn't open the door but she was surprised to see her best friend jump down from the stool and proceed towards the door.

Still fuming, Katherine opened the door. Lo and behold, She came face to face with Oliver Gusto. Before he could say anything, She raised her voice at him.

"Why did you have to interfere with my work? Have I consented to go to Australia with you? Why did you have to go that far? Who the hell did you even talk to? What did you tell them? You didn't even give me the opportunity to go say goodbye to them. You claim you want us to do this for the kids. Is this how you plan to control my life?"

"Why don't you let me in so we can discuss this?" Ollie said calmly.

"I have nothing to discuss with you. This whole thing is over! My kids and I are not going anywhere with you." Katherine was about to shut the door when Oliver forced his way in.

"Look, I'm sorry if you felt offended by it. I wouldn't intervene if it's not worth it. Since I'm the one causing the discomfort, I felt it was my duty to explain to the management and to figure things out."

"You have a job waiting for you in

one of the most prestigious

hospitals in Queensland. Even though I'm quite powerful over there,

they don't joke when it comes to qualifications. I had to reach

the hospital here for a

recommendation letter. They are going through it but I'm sure you'll get the job over there."

"It's a very good hospital at a central

location. I'm sure you'll love it. I didn't mean to interfere rudely or

Boss you around. I felt if you were moving for my sake, then I should bear the burden of making sure

you're comfortable and thurs

you

have it all. I didn't mean to do anything behind your back. But sorry if I offended you." Content belongs

"I hate you so much," Katherine whispered, shutting the door.

"Mommy...." She heard a very familiar voice whining.

Looking in the direction where the voice came from, it turned out to be her little girl, who was taking slow steps towards them scratching her face with the back of her palm.

The moment she removed her hands from her face, Oliver froze where he stood. He wasn't someone to be scared of anything but unknowingly, his heart rate increased because of what he saw.

"What a good time to wake up from your nap!" Katherine mumbled, rolling her eyes as she took some steps to where her daughter was.

She crouched towards the little girl, "You had a good nap?"

Sophie nodded.

"Guess who's here to see you?"

"Who?" She whispered, and then she remembered something was supposed to happen today.

"Daddy!?" Her face suddenly lit up.

Katherine nodded.

For the first time since she came into the living room, She looked up and her smile got even bigger when she sighted a male figure.

As fast as her feet could carry her, she ran towards the male figure and hugged the legs tightly, afraid that he would disappear if she let go.

"Gently Sophie," Katherine warned. She already took in Oliver's appearance and saw how stunned he was.

Once she freed him, he crouched down to her height even though he was unaware of what to say.

The first thing he noticed was her eyes. They were exactly like him though she had the same hair color as Katherine and her hair was neatly parked. She was putting on a short dress and had her crocs on.

For some reason, Sophie made him remember his mother because she looked so much like her when she was Sophie's age.

"Are you crying? Did I make you sad?" Sophie's tone was already changing to that of sadness as if she wanted to cry too.

"No...no..of course not." Oliver stammered, trying to get himself together. He had no idea when his eyes started welling up with tears. "No, I'm not

sad. I'm just so happy to see you."

The little girl smiled again. "Me too, Daddy. You are just as handsome as I saw you in my dream."

An involuntary smile crept to Oliver's lips. "You saw me in your dream?"

She nodded. "A few times. I knew you would come to see me."

"I'm glad I did. I wouldn't trade this moment for anything in the world."

Sophie grinned shyly.

The duo continued to stare at each other with smiles on their faces.

"Can I hug you?" The little girl said.
