Chapter 37: 36
Chapter 37: 36
Happy reading
Who knows how many times Retha persuaded Dave to let the boy eat. This is all the result of Ocean,
who keeps teasing Dave by asking where his brother is. Retha sighed, she was out of mind. Dave had
been sulking for two days, even if a bar of chocolate used to persuade him, now it was all in vain. In
fact, Farrell had bought into one of the most popular candy shops, just to make Dave happy. However,
the boy was still sulking, and would continue to do so until what he wanted was achieved.
"Dave, come on ..." said Retha who had run out of wits, "you can get sick if you keep refusing to eat,
son."
Dave shook his head, "No."
"Tell Mother, what is the thing that makes you want to eat?"
"Will you give it?"
"Of course, Mother will give anything for you."
"All right, I want a little sister. A beautiful sister."
"Dave ..." Retha sighed, "getting that little brother is not easy. You have to wait for nine months, then
you will get it."
"But, uncle Sam-"
"Stop believing in Uncle Sam, okay? He's just teasing you, that's not true, you have to be patient if you
want a younger brother," Retha gently stroked Dave's cheek, "You can practice being a good brother,
while waiting for your sister's presence. Okay? "
"How to?"
"You have to protect your brother, you must keep him away from all the things that will be bad for him."

9 months later
Have you ever felt a very deep fear? When you know, the people you care about and love are on the
verge of death. What will you do? How will you feel?
Maybe one of your answers is the same as Farrell. The man could not hold back his fear, joy, and
anxiety united as one. How come? Currently, his wife is on the brink of death, struggling to give birth to
their second child. Maybe too much, but this is Farrell's first time facing a birth. Correction, waiting for a
delivery.
"Farrel, calm down. He'll be fine," Ocean's deep voice made Farrel turn.
"How can I be calm, Sam. You know, giving birth is risking life!"
"Yeah, I know. But panicking and pacing like this, it won't help. You better keep quiet and think
positively, I wasn't even this crazy when Vale gave birth to Bara. After all, this is her second childbirth."
"Still I can't calm down, Sam."
"Where is a Farrell without fear?"
"Mr. Farrell," called a doctor who had just come out of the room where Re gave birth.
Farrel immediately went to the doctor, "How is my wife?"
"Mother and child are healthy. Congratulations, your daughter is very beautiful," continued the doctor
who made Farrel smile perfectly.
"Can I see how they are?" NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
"Of course." The doctor made room for Farrell to enter.
Farrell's body trembled, in his life, for the second time he felt an intense fear. The first, when Re's
condition is not getting better, and the second is now, when Re is risking his life.
"She's beautiful," Re mumbled, staring at the tiny baby in his arms.
"Beautiful little princess," Farrel added, making Re lift his head.
"You know, I already have a name for him."
"Who?"
"Cleopatra Titania Wdyatmaja," Re replied, looking gently at her baby.
"Meaning?"
"Cleopatra is the Queen of ancient Egypt, a smart and wise woman, Titania means giant and I hope
she can be a big girl, and Wdyatmaja is the name of her father. So, Cleopatra Titania Wdyatmaja
means a great intelligent queen, great glory."
"Very good," Farrell smiled. "And, we call him?"
"Clay."
"I love you both," Farrell kissed Re and Clay alternately on the forehead.
"Mother father!" shrieked Dave who had just arrived with Valerie. "Jeez, my little brother was born?
Jeez, he's so small!"
"Of course, Dave. He'll be big, like you," said Farrell.
"What do we call him, Dad?" Dave asked, staring at Farrell with his rounded eyes.
"Clay," said Re.
"Clay?" Dave raised an eyebrow, "That sounds like a toy ..."
"Dave ..." called Farrell. "Her full name is Cleopatra."
"Oh. Then, I want to just call her Barbie. She's beautiful, like Barbie. Can you, Dad?" Dave asked,
looking hopefully at Farrell.
"Of course you can, you're his brother, you have to take care of him. Don't let anyone hurt him," Farrel
ruffled Dave's hair.
"Of course, Father. Remember my promise, nothing will make my brother cry, except cry happily."
Farrel looked at his little family which was already intact. He has a wife who he loves very much, and
also two pairs of very adorable children. Farell's life is complete. Sherly, Charles, they're just a pebble
to the little of what Farrell had been doing all this time.
There is no Happy Ending, because Ending is actually death, and there is nothing happy about death.
