Unexpected Encounter with my Boss (Vincent and Tiffany)

Chapter 134

The wall had a bunch of shelves stacked up, each with colorful baskets full of snacks. Tiffany's favorite pickles were in there too. The pantry looked more like a little corner shop than a regular pantry. Tiffany grabbed a pickle and popped it into her mouth. She just loved that tangy-sweet taste that just cleared her palate right away.

She was happy she didn't have to buy snacks anymore. That saved her some cash, and she couldn't help but grin.

Meanwhile, Vincent was watching Tiffany on the surveillance monitor above. A faint smile tugged at his lips as he observed her on the screen.

"Mr. Lewis," Ivy approached, "It's time to go."

Vincent switched off his phone and stood up, ready to leave.

It was around 9:00 pm. Vincent wrapped up his business and headed back to the car, looking tired as he loosened his collar.

"Hey, where's Ivy?" Vincent realized Ivy wasn't with them.

"Oh, she went to the duty-free shop next door," Alex explained. "Said she's closing a big deal and wanted to reward herself with some quality skincare products." With that, Alex started the car.

Vincent's voice came from the backseat, "Stop the car. Let's go check it out too."

"Alright."

They walked into the duty-free shop just as Ivy was finishing up at the checkout.

Seeing them, Ivy seemed surprised. "Mr. Lewis, Mr. Zander, what brings you here?"

"Mr. Lewis wanted to take a look..." Alex began, but Vincent had already stepped into a specific area.

As Vincent stood before the display table, he found himself mesmerized by the plethora of skincare products. He reached for a brown bottle of serum and studied the text on its label.

"Mr. Lewis Ivy approached, "Are you

shopping for men's or women's

skincare? I'm quite knowledgeable out

about these brands. Would you like me to make some

recommendations?"

"For women," Vincent replied.

Ivy nodded. "So, what's her skin type?"

Vincent pictured Tiffany's face. "She seems to have a fair complexion with no visible blemishes. I'm not exactly sure about her skin type."

Assuming he was talking about

Kelly, Ivy suggested, "Alright,

probably normal skin then. For that, hydration is key. There's no need for anything too fancy. Just stick to the basics. How about this brown set? It should suit her just fine."

Vincent checked the ingredient list and asked, "Is this suitable for pregnant women?"

"Pregnant?" Ivy was surprised. Was Kelly already expecting? So soon?

A tinge of jealousy flashed in her eyes momentarily. Then, she pointed to a counter nearby. "That set should do, but it's a bit pricey."

Vincent walked over to take a look. The set was priced at around 50 thousand dollars.

The pale blue bottles, with their translucent design, looked quite refreshing.

Vincent settled on that set in the end. When the store clerk found out it was a gift, they brought out a gorgeous gift box and packaged it up beautifully.

Ivy couldn't help but feel a bit jealous and resentful. Once back at the hotel, she immediately called Kelly.

If Vincent wanted to surprise her, Ivy

would spoil it by telling Kelly in

advance. She needed to level the

playing field since she wouldn't get to enjoy the surprise herself.

Q.UMS

When Kelly learned that Vincent had bought her such an extravagant gift, she was overjoyed.

Feeling a pang of bitterness, Ivy couldn't help but make a sarcastic remark, "Wow, Kelly, you really move fast to already be pregnant."

Kelly was surprised. "What?"

"Kelly, I thought we were friends." Ivy gripped her phone tightly, feeling more and more unsettled by the situation.
