Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1284

Sydney was sweating bullets, her hands shaking as she clutched the prescription tightly.

"Sydney, what's going on?" Scott asked, his voice laced with concern. He always had a soft spot for talented young folks. "Are you feeling alright? Hand that prescription over and take a breather." The higher-ups all watched her with kind eyes. Who doesn't appreciate a bright and spirited kid?

"Is there something wrong with the prescription?" Corbyn noticed her odd behavior, gripping the paper so tightly it seemed like she might tear it to shreds. "No... it's fine..." Sydney replied instinctively.

Admitting there was a problem wasn't an option; she couldn't explain it away, and missing this opportunity meant she'd have to wait for another shot.

Another whole year...

She couldn't bear the thought of waiting again!

Sydney's eyes flicked to Flora with a flash of resentment. Even if the prescription was Flora's, what proof did she have?

"My prescription might have some rough edges. Please, Master and elders, feel free to offer your guidance."

Suppressing her anxiety, she managed to smile-a polite and gentle expression as she handed over the prescription. Corbyn took it, initially glancing over it nonchalantly, but his eyes widened with surprise when he absorbed the full content. His eyes lit up with excitement!

His hands shook as he held the prescription, thrilled by what he saw.

"Did you write this?" Corbyn stared at Sydney, astonished. She had a hidden talent he hadn't seen before.

"Let us see too!"

Seeing Corbyn's reaction, the other executives knew this prescription had to be exceptional, and they eagerly crowded around to have a look. "Wow..."

"This is impressive! Look here at how these ingredients are combined-it's pure genius!"

Scott was over the moon, every inch of him buzzing with excitement. After such a long search, they had finally found a promising talent. "Sydney, you've really outdone yourself!"

Sydney glanced at Flora before modestly saying, "Well, it's not that great..."

"Not great? It's brilliant!"

Scott let out a hearty laugh, thrilled to have discovered such talent.

"Flora, sweetie, take a look at her. She's got skills and humility. Now compare that to you." Scott, at a loss for words to describe Flora, simply handed her the prescription. See the difference?" en

Really?

Flora raised an eyebrow, intrigued by what Sydney had written, and took the prescription.

"Don't..."

Sydney's heart nearly jumped out of her chest when Scott handed the prescription to Flora, but she kept a calm exterior. "Sydney, are you sure you wrote this?" Corbyn, having calmed down, began to suspect something was amiss.

Could Sydney really have crafted this prescription with her skills?

He wasn't convinced.

Sydney's face went pale, unsure how to respond.

"What's the deal here? Are you doubting her Scott was not

pleased. "Of course, Sydney wrote it. With her talent and dedication, it's only natural she'd create something like this. Are you accusing her of plagiarism?"

That would be a blow to Sydney's pride.

Scott, a lover of talent, couldn't stand those who were all talk and no substance-like-

Scott turned to Flora with a sneer.

"Can't make sense of it, can you?"

Flora had been silent since she

received the prescription, her eyes downcast, lost in thought. Scott seriously doubted she understood it at all.
