The leader of the Quartet War Pillars, Feralbone, looked at Shadowbeard with a cold gaze. "Seeing as it was Elder Morgon who released you, Shadowbeard, we will give you one last chance," he said indifferently. "Take the rest of the primordial vampires with you and leave this primeval forest immediately. Stay out of our hunt for Nathan." Shadowbeard's expression shifted subtly.

He knew that Nathan had defeated two generals under Morgon's command before engaging in a life-threatening fight with Morgon himself that ended with both combatants grievously injured, and only then did Nathan manage to escape into the vast mountains. Nathan must be seriously injured right now.

Then, the Gods dispatched the Quartet War Pillars of War to persecute him.

If I turned around and left right now, it is likely that Nathan, in his current condition, would have a hard time escaping the pursuit of the Quartet War Pillars and the other Gods.

Nathan, the strongest God of War and the most powerful vampire on Earth, was the only hope for the primordial vampire warriors-Shadowbeard's kin.

He looked up slowly to glare at the Quartet War Pillars. "What if I refuse to leave?" he asked quietly.

As soon as he uttered those defiant words, the expressions of the Quartet War Pillars hardened.

"I told you so, didn't I?" Thornweaver said coldly. "These d*mned primordial vampires have come here just to save Nathan. They know that he is the secret of Earth vampires. These primordial vampires are still harboring the delusion of rescuing Nathan, a member of Earth vampires. They are hoping to unite both clans to stand against us, the Gods."

Valorax and Carnifex were looking at Shadowbeard as if he was livestock.

A killing intent flashed in Feralbone's eyes.

Shadowbeard's scheme had incurred the wrath of the Gods, stirring a murderous intent within him.

"Don't think that just because Elder Morgon released you, Shadowbeard, we wouldn't dare kill you," Feralbone said nonchalantly. "You have absolutely no understanding of the current situation. The Curia and the vampires are in a standoff at Mount Eoncrest right now, ready to wage war at any moment. The forces of the human alliance are also heading this way. Once the news of Nathan's death gets out, mankind will believe that Nathan was killed by the vampires. When that happens, a great war will break out between them. Also, the Gods' spaceships and forces have made the

necessary preparations. By the time humans and the vampires are both severely weakened from battling each other, that's when we, the Gods, will launch a full-scale

invasion of Earth."

Shadowbeard's expression shifted dramatically.

He had known long ago that the Gods were planning to instigate conflict on Earth and seize the opportunity to invade.

However, he did not expect the hammer of the Gods to descend so swiftly.

The conditions for the Gods to launch a full-scale attack on Earth were nearly met.

They were simply waiting for the news of Nathan's death to spread and for the vampires to start a war with the humans. Then, the perfect opportunity for the Gods to attack would have arrived.

At that moment, Shadowbeard was more convinced than ever that Nathan must not die.

As long as Nathan does not die, he can take charge and organize a war between the vampires and humans, leaving no opportunity for the Gods to take advantage. The primordial vampires would still stand a chance. Spurred by those thoughts, his gaze became resolute. He arrived at a decision.

Feralbone continued his reprimand in a threatening tone, "If you know what's good for you, Shadowbeard, get out of here right now. Heed the orders of Elder Morgon and obey the commands of us Gods. After we conquer Earth, you can serve as our loyal hounds. If you don't concede, however, you're not even worthy of being a lapdog, and I'll deal with you right now."

Shadowbeard glared at the Quartet War Pillars. "Apologies, but we, the vampires, are simply unwilling to be dogs to you Gods," he said slowly. "That's why we rose up in rebellion, nearly facing extinction once before. Even now, we still refuse to

surrender. Given even the slightest chance, we will fight to the end. Even if we are reduced to a single soldier, we will still fight. If you want to hunt Nathan down, you will have to get through me."
